Admiral Havelock And look where it got you. Killing your own allies and locking my own daughter in a cell. I wonder how happy she was with you, knowing you did your service to "the Empire"
She's a one-note narcissistic sociopath that is incapable of thinking about anything but her image, and how much power she has. Both games, she doesn't have one moment where she's beyond that. Even her supposedly emotional moments, she can't be better than that. Because that's the only way either Arkane or Bethesda can portray women in power... As simpering twits, or aspiring dictators who don't have personalities beyond "red flag."
@@akiameko1984 Plenty of the men in power are much worse than Emily. What are you talking about. And besides, in D2 she admits that being in Karnacahas given her perspective. She's not so bad.
This reminds me, on my low chaos playthrough I ended up killing Havelock with no flair but decent catharsis. I left him alone, he attacked me when I went to unlock Emily's cell, I decided not to give that traitorous shit the satisfaction of an honorable duel and set him on fire with an incendiary bolt, tossing the body off the top of the tower so the sight of it wouldn't disturb the impressionable young Empress.
I remember when I fought Havelock in my clean hands playthrough, I grabbed for the key he pulled a gun, I stopped time just in time (his bullet was in the air) then I was able to choke him.
Love this game. Hands down my favorite game to play. Dishonored is one of those games that never gets boring no matter how many times you’ve beaten it. At least in my opinion
@@winstonchurchill7822 I played Dishonored back on the Xbox 360 and I don't think they even mention it if I remember correctly, or if he did survive odds are he'd be locked in Coldridge and contract the plague and die anyway. If you use bend time you can actually take the key without him even noticing and rescue Emily with him still conscious.
You didn't do any of the high chaos ones, My favorite is standing at the doorway to the walkway and chucking a shot glass over emily so Havelock stumbles and falls down, if you do it right emily will stumble forward and won't be dangling from the edge.
Low chaos is boring af. At least mix up a little if you can unless you're after some kind of achievement (I don't even know or care if there are any for perfectly clean low chaos).
So, I recently got this game and was doing a blind playthrough in low chaos. When they betrayed me, I knew that I wasn't going to spare them like I did with everyone else. A personal favorite of mine you didn't show, stopping time, throwing a grenade right next to him, then shooting it all before starting time again Second favorite is stopping time right after he shoots at you, and throwing a grenade right in the bullets path
Yeah, I honestly think that's one of the points of the game, narratively speaking... Funny story, I played through the game like one and a half times. My first run, I tried to do stealth/nonlethal but was shit at it and refused to load old saves. So I ended up with almost all low chaos/no kills missions, and two missions from early in the game that were _so_ high chaos I got the "bad" ending automatically. So I went back in and replayed those two and a few of my favorites to get the low chaos ending. There's something about a non-psychotic Emily that's more gratifying.
I just feel bad anytime I start going high chaos even though killing allows for more creative gameplay imo. Death of the outsider didn't have a chaos system and I finally felt free to go ham. That was cathartic. That was weird
Sirocco I like the 2012 and 2013 dishonored games like brigmore witches, the knife of dunwall and dishonored 1. The outsider is way better and I think the aesthetic is nicer.
Possess him and walk him up to the edge of the top of the lighthouse. As he's puking off the edge, use Bend Time and slap a springrazor down on the door frame behind him. Wait outside Emily's door with the key until he's confirmed dead by sneaky springrazor trap and rescue her.
On my first run I snuck in there stole the key and was caught by Hevlock who started monologuing and I just opened the door while he was talking abd ended the game
You forgot my favorite, summoning a devouring swarm of rats while you're above him in his study in front of the other enemies while they are both alive and concious and make it look like Havelock was eaten alive by rats out of nowhere
I usualy start with rat pack, wich is followed by flaming dart, then with a usual dart to the knee and as a desert I use burst of wind to finish him by breaking every bone of his body with nearest wall.
7:10 I completed the game on PC 7 times (3 times stealth pacifist, 4 times with everybody dead...even rats). It is actually possible to get the key without Havelock attacking you for it. You just have to make him not to look at you and take the key while he is turning backwards to that little table where the key is. I even wanted to try out that what happens if he attacks you but you open the door. Nothing much it seems, he just stops.
IDK why but when I first finished this game I got the low chaos one even if I killed a lot and by a lot I mean *a lot!* then when I finally realized and stepped up to the game with more stealth, that's when I have the most chaos. Weird
Funny and Quirky but sort of lame you didnt try to be creative, like throwing a glass bottle with a sticky grenade on it or a spring razor while throwing havelockk forward towards it aswell.
