- This video is a little different then my previous videos. In this video I will NOT be installing a new part instead I will be answer a question I keep getting from viewers and that question is, "What wheel and tire set up are you running?"
So in this video I will be letting you know what wheels I am running, what tires I am running, how I made it possible to run these tires and my overall feedback of the tires.
The tires I am currently running are 37x13.5 Cooper Discovery STT Pro Tires.

Nice ride! I have these tires and LOVE them on the trail. I run them @32psi to get full spread. Chalk test them to make sure you are at right PSI. I have a LOT of weight (see my videos) and 32psi is perfect. They run great on the trail, SUPER sticky at 15PSI, will climb over anything. No mud here in AZ so can't comment there. On the highway at 70ish then are great, 80 is pushing it. Lotta weight with these bad boys. Loud yes, for sure but on the trail they are hard to beat. Interested to see how the Fox steering stabilizer works now. You'll need it! :)
I have a 2006 full size diesel running 37's. I have always run the Toyo's but I moved to Europe and literally this past year could not find them in an 18 inch rim. The Toyo's are great and relatively quiet and last 50K miles no problem. BUT, coming from California and now living in Croatia where there are slick road, tons of rain and snow, you definitely notice that 5 year mark of the rubber getting hard and not safe. So I did find BFG's here, I had BFG's and hated them and they were like 4K euros for 4 tires, ummm, screw that. The ONLY tires I could get were the Coopers and I've got to say, they're super nice, about the same loudness as the Toyo's, I run them at 40psi because of the diesel and I do tow a 3 ton trailer from time to time and I gotta say no problem. I should probably do a video on them.
Copper true American company other is Goodyear. Great video
Could you please make a video of your Jeep full video from far “front sides and back” how it looks please please
What do the tires actually measure height-wise on the jeep? Are they really 37" or less?
Hey are you not lifted right now? Used only wheel spacer ?
No, at the time of the video I had a 2.5" rough country spacer lift on the jeep to fit the wheels and was using 1.5 wheel spacers.
Looks great man! Where did you get your lugnut covers or did you just switch them out for black ones??
I just found them on amazon.com they are just rubber caps that go over the chrome nuts.
@@evolvedjeepin got ya, that's what I figured. Jeep is looking really good!
@@r6realtor thanks!
@@evolvedjeepin you don't happen to have a link do you or know the exact ones you purchased? There seems to be 100 different ones to choose from and half the buyers say they fit and other says they don't. Looks like I need 19mm x 1in deep but some say get the 21-23mm covers ???
I just checked my Amazon order history and my order for these is no longer there. I believe I went with the 19mm ones. I wanted them tight so they would stay. My suggestion because you can return stuff on Amazon is to purchase two sizes and then return the one that doesn't work. Just so you know I didn't have to stretch the one to cover my lock nuts, but they eventually went on.
Did you get gloss or matte black for the wheels?
I believe I went with satin black, but it might have been matte. I know for a fact I did not go with gloss.
what do you use for tire shine?
I usually us Meguiar's hot shine coating. I apply it for a bit and then wipe it down to give it a more matte/satin shine instead of gloss.
Those wheels are 17x7.5?
Yeah those are the stock 17x7.5" wheels.
