GMO run with Dwarf + Scientist actually does give you 2 anvils, and the Dwarf's bonus to armor modifications means you can get a LITTLE armor. It's an interesting run, would highly recommend.
Looks like the number of drones in each rings is the same as in electron orbitals. 2 in the inner ring, then 8, 18, and not enough drones to fill out the 4th ring.
Actually it's 2 | 7 | 17 | 18 for some reason. With 6 reds you get 2 in the 5. ring (in the video 5 reds and 1 purple, because he got the item version) Edit: it looks like 44 is the max, but it still adds new outer ones by taking away inner ones
Brotato kinda reminds me of a game jam. There's not a lot of competition; just everybody finding different, cool ways to solve the same problem. Or to even address the same topic.
the 1 damage is from the flame turret fire damage tik. it also looks like some uav's get destroyed and gaps form most noted on wave 19, maybe attack speed helps the cooldown they have to come back faster
I think the UAVs would maybe be balanced when it's an item with a limit of 2 (4 UAVs) so you can work with the bullet destruction, as a weapon you just get too many, so there is no chance for bullets to get trough plus all the stats you can ignore
so i play brotato more heavily modded and go for endless every run, i believe that scientist + remote was built with "more mods + endless in mind". more mods = more diluted 'drop' pool, so each thing you are able to make use of has to be more effective to balance it. also, in endless with infinite hp and damage scaling, kill rate slows down, and things are able to reach you much more easily making "no armor" and "no ability to run away" a much more pressing concern you would have to build around. to conclude: scientist + remote in "normal" = fun and good, but op. scientist + remote in "heavy modded" = fun and good, well balanced.
Since the drones had a cooldown that was getting faster...I'm wondering if attack speed affected how quickly they spawned at the beginning of the round. Because there was a noticeable difference between the early waves and later waves with how fast the initial spawn was.
U should try this char with the compound its way better cause u can keep upgrading them 😁 over all u should try all of the weapons the are crasy fun :) nice Video:)
science weapons is better for the passive on the scientist bcoz of how science weapons works ^^ AtleaSt i think so when i tested it, all i know is that manually upgrading weapons on that char is not worth it, you get less engineering bonus
Yeah to be clear +8 engineering is essentially stick but +4 per. Which is still rediculous cause stick is mechanically a bad weapon this very much is not.

Usually if item has a limit, you upgrade chance ( like 20% chance to insta get material with 1%lifesteal penalty). Elefant and robot head (25% chance to deal dmg on kill) dont, so they have individual chance to proc. So you can deal dmg 0 or 4 times. Also you deal dmg to same enemy according to wiki
can someone explain why it is relevant which weapon envil upgrades? I might be missing something obvious but in the end it is going to take the same amount of rounds/upgrades to get all weapons to legendary, so why does it matter?
It is more cost effective. If it hits an epic it is the same as getting an epic for free. This opens the door for you to buy common upgrades instead of rares or epics.

The arrangement of the drones is like the arrangement of electrons in atoms (first 2 then 8 18 32 etc.)

And the second and third ring are just 7 and 17

Some nerf suggestions: Make drone speeds constant, make bullet destruction dependent on dodge?
The robbery item gives you a free purchase each shop while the steal item is only the next purchase.

Very cool weapon idea, but i feel like the drones would look cooler if each “level” of drones alternated direction
the robot would synergise with padding really well because you would gain the extra health every turn.

from what I have seen the reason for the gaps in the drones is that there are too many structures on the screen at one time
Here's hoping you will try out the troll's keyboard weapon now you've returned to the diversified mod.
The damage of the outermost drones is massive compared to the innermost - as they have far more angular speed and impacts per second!

Speed down would probably balance the scientist with this weapon.
That weapon would be mega op on that other char that took half your materials and added engineering or whatever it was
Improvised Tools is busted with the drones, as it makes them spin faster.

Is it a possibility that maybe the rotation speed is affected by your attack speed?
