Brotato is a top-down arena shooter roguelite where you play a potato wielding up to 6 weapons at a time to fight off hordes of aliens. Choose from a variety of traits and items to create unique builds and survive until help arrives.

I liked that the Battery applied its MAX HP down before the Robot set your max, so for that character specifically it was just pure upside. Also wildly fun concept, the Brotato community really putting out some gems!
modders are getting creative, i like it. Though should have went with the plasma guns, they are VERY unique
Took me a moment to realize, but now these mechanics make sense. I thought the max hp at wave start would constantly override the loss, but basically the hp gets preserved between waves which is honestly an awesome concept!

I think the additional tiers work especially well with the character you played yesterday which starts with an anvil and gives you harvesting and engineering per upgrade - with normal weapons you run out of tiers to upgrade, but not with the scientific weapons.
I'm pretty sure for science you don't need to combine a + and a + I think a + and a regular is sufficient for the next tier. So make sure to manual combine otherwise you're wasting + weapons when you could be using a base if that makes sense. You did this at 12:37 when you could have (I think) combined the base common shop boomerang with your + instead of combining your two + boomerangs

@@Retromation I think they allow the + and + combine so you don't get softlocked from not having a regular to combine with

I have 100%ed Brotato after 60 something hours and afterwards I thought, well... it was fun and I want to play it more. Then I discovered it has workshop mod support. It blows my mind how many fun character concepts people are able to come up with, currently I got both Pata and Diversified combo'd into my game and my god does it make the game even more addicting.
I think this demands that you GMO the. robot with multitasker and get max legendary+ boomerangs!
I would really recommend the scientist with the plasma gun. It's a very interesting weapon, altough a bit too powerful.
I think the drones were suppose to be the robot weapon and that the science weapons should be the sciencetist weapons.
I want to see this character/weapon combo in an endless run. 6 legendary mechanical boomerangs would be a boss eraser build!

Since you are back in Diversified, there is a silly build I would love to see. Pick the Generalist, and go Boomerang and Shuriken to make use of their passive exactly as intended.

One handed boomerang sounds great, you need double the upgrades which makes it even more of a pain to tet in one handed but still, it would go kinda wild it feels like

with the GMO, if you combined demon with robot that would be busted...
wouldn't it be really strong to use the mechanical boomerangs on the sientist in endless cause the bosses would just get annihalited

I don't think he realised he could combine normal weapons and + weapons of the same tier.
First comment but if you run scientist with a science weapon you'll get double the upgrades and it'll benefit you the entire run

no showing hate but u made it harder to lvl up the weapons than what it is. u were combining 2 + weapons together when u only need 1 + to get to the next color. this was causing you to use more weapons to lvl them up
