    Brotato is a top-down arena shooter roguelite where you play a potato wielding up to 6 weapons at a time to fight off hordes of aliens. Choose from a variety of traits and items to create unique builds and survive until help arrives.

    Goat skull being 100% less harvesting modifications and +10 harvesting was so funny to me

      Got a run where bait is 100% less harvesting n many item got 2 harvesting per bait you have

      Don't forget terrified onion being -100 armor and +1 armor

    I think the crash from small map size happens because the game tries spawning enemies a certain distance away from you, but doesn't have any place for it, which locks it into an infinite loop of trying to find free space.
    This would also explain why the crash only happens when you go to the middle. When standing in a corner, the other corner of the map is far enough to spawn enemies.

    I guess if they split by rarity - like the effects of all the epics got jumbled together in one pile, all the commons got jumbled together in another etc, that could be a "chaos lite" mode? Less likely to see amazing cheap commons and useless legendaries that way, at least.

    Chaos mod plus Violence Aesthetic would be insane! Especially if the Wholesaler ability goes to a common.

    Fun fact: this mod is "compatible" with any mod that adds a character or item, it'll include those rules in the shuffle. There does seem to be a limit though.

    I usually find randomizer mods like this super boring, but you managed to make both of them exciting and interesting to watch. Another dub from reto folks

      Hate to break it, but it will certainly happen. Interest has been on a steady, but very gradual decline for a while. If it happens it happens, but whatever eventually (and it will probably be a _while from now)_ replaces it, hopefully you'll like just as much or more.

      ​@@Retromationyou should see if instead of randomizing numbers you can randomize the type of damage or buff so just change it from like ranged damage to attack speed or luck to elemental

    Updating the Infinite mod would be more fun. We have had chaos, now, lets see what curated chaos looks like.

    This mod has potential. It could use a little balancing of the stats, and then maybe force you to take a random item every wave.

    I think the fun of this mod is imposing your own difficulty, taking items that make the enemies stronger and so on. It's completely random so the experience you have it completely up to you, not balancing.

    I think this mod has some good potential. Although it would be less random I like the idea of making each item have a random positive and a random negative. Also an interesting challenge for this mod could be purchasing every item in the shop if possible.

    Here’s my suggestion effects are randomized within the level they come from. So uncommon items have uncommon effects rates have rare effects legends have legend effects. Commons have common ofc. Additionally all items have a chance of having effects of different tiers but it’s a low chance. What’s your opinion?

      Banding items for effect based on rarity is what I would do.

    The dev could better balance items by creating tiered positive and negative effects pools and choosing one from each for every item so always have a downside. For weapons, it would make sense to curate base stats for each tier and then toss in a random positive and negative trait and/or you could randomized the stat from which it calculates damage or effects. For example, a run might have a tier one melee weapon scaling on melee but tier two adds health damage and tier three adds elemental damage, etc. And these bonus damage types are randomized per run.

    There are a few possibilities to approach a "more balanced" version of this mod.
    Someone already mentioned only jumbling within the same tier
    Another would be to sort positive and negative effects, and maybe even tiering them in terms of strength and then giving higher rarity items a better roll chance for the higher tier effects, or just plainly make it that high tier positives come with a negative, or that red items are more likely to bring good positives without negatives.
    Basically, any combination of the above would result in the fact that common items don't end up being a better choice 90% of the time due to price.
    But hey, it sounds like that would be a coding nightmare...

    Once anvil was taken surely it worth just buying the other weapons and finding a decent legendary?

    Hey got a small challange for you to do with the mod.
    You pick whatever character and whatever weapon you like but in the chop you have to buy all the passive items that come up good or bad.
    Weapons you can just pick whenever and whatever you want

    I think if you add rule like "cannot recycle" then the run might be get challenging past wave 9

    I love this mod. Really hope they don't change it though. I love the fact a run could be totally busted, and it happens more often than usual. If I want to play a completely balanced run I'll uninstall the mods. I love the absolute randomness of this

    Instead of randomizing the numbers you randomize the type of damage show engineering becomes melee and ranged becomes elemental

    The biggest problem with chaos mod is that there seems to be way too many positive effects vs negative effects.

      this isn't really the problem though, even if there was an even amount of both in the pool, you can just _not buy the negative ones_ there really is nothing stopping you.

    Maybe chose a state and you have to get each item with that state no matter what other state is on the item
