Wholesaler + Fighting Stick combo? If I'm thinking about it right, all the XP up items purchased would give you a ton of stat up bonuses to offset any item penalties.
I would love to see you take this version of wholesaler to endless mode. It would be a race to see who can out scale each other first? The scaling of the shop and enemies or would you be able to keep powering through until round 50 or 60 or even higher? Most of your characters stopped in the 40s and seeing an insane run like that would be fun
I'd be interested in seeing a "tank" run on this character, going for lots of paddings and maybe alien eyes. seems like one of the only characters that could maybe make it work
Btw Reto, unique items should not give you a 10% attack damage penalty. Im pretty sure I recall you not getting a penalty when you did it previously as this character. (It also makes sense with the wording on the character as it says that you get the penalty when you wholesale, but if you buy one you are not 'wholesaling')

You should try buying 12 lures, 36 crates in one stage is nothing to scoff at
