I just found a different good pizza oven my vote 8.9 and yours?
A 10. Because it is much more than a pizza oven. I made steakes, chicken, potatos, even fish and apple crumble pie in my raptor. 😉
I give it a 9 because it's very compact and it looks beautiful aaand gets the job done!

Maybe I can help some people who want to buy the Raptor or the Karu 16 because i asked me the same.
In the end, it was the Raptor for me, because:
1. The price: the Raptor ist about 550€ with a tone stone like a biscotto and with gas option vs 699€ without Gas and 799€ with gas option, but without a tone stone.
The diference in the price i invested in accessoires like a table, pizza peel and other stuff you need.
2. the door: i think you dont need a door because you have to flip the pizza and have to open and close the door every 20 Seconds and the fact that ooni bring a half door for the karu 16 (99€) is giving me right i think.
3.the flame on the side that give you a better look to the pizza direct beside the flame than the flame in the deep back of the Karu what is harder to see.
4. The fact that Glowen Raptor is manufactured in Europe gives me a better feeling about the quality of this oven.
I hope i could some people help with my personal compersion.
Im in the same adventure to deside: ooni, gozney or this one. I love what I see....I´m in Valencia, Spain.
Price of the raptor went up to 650,00. Door is also to heat up faster, and to charge another 50eur for the door... they could easily include it, as its very basic door anyway.
A few years ago I started making homemade pizza. I was really passionate about it! But somehow I lost my jam, and a few days ago I found you and your channel! Your fire and your passion is igniting me!!! Time to make some pizza again! And I have so many videos of you that I can binge watch now! Keep it going!! Only for Pizzalovers!!! (And a poolish is already in the fridge right now :D )

I found with my pizza oven to let it heat up with large flames that flow over the whole top of the oven. Takes 30 min to heat with wood fire. When the flames go down to medium size just after being large is the best time/temperature to cook it. If the flame goes out add more wood and repeat. The stone is nice and hot but the mid sized fire wont singe the top of the pie. 👍🏼
The classic way (1000s of years) is to put some wood shavings at the start of each cook/batch.
Even the preserved ruins of Pompeii showed they did this.

Good video. Love your pro opinions. Could you please make video about troubleshooting dough with examples. Ex: over-proofed dough and how to work with it. Not enough fermentation or gluten development. Poolish gone wrong etc.
Always wondered how are you keeping you dough in working condition over extended period of time while catering.
I have a question about dough making. Does it really make a big difference if you add the water first to the bowl before the flour. Or should it be the other way around. It's for large dough quantity.

Went to site to view oven and all the things you showed in the box that came with the oven they were extras even the gas burner the door to the oven is an option. They sent you the oven with all the options available for the premier evaluation of their oven on your channel. They don't even have an option for the package you received. You have to buy each item separately.

Agreed their site doesn't have the ignitor for example and everything shown is extra so it adds up to over €1260.80 without the ignitor which makes it an expensive oven overall
How does this one compare to the karu 16? I'm looking to buy one this summer.
I'm interested in the larger model Diablo. Looks like it would be great for Ny style pizzas.

Maestro, one little thing 😀 in the back of the gas burner you have a little hole through you can fire up the oven so you don't have to put your hands inside the oven. Otherwise great video 👍 I bought the oven couple weeks ago and I am very pleased with it.
This is described in the manual. We all saw what happened to the manual 🤣
Vito, great video as always. If going to buy a pizza oven. At present I'm leaning towards the Ooni Karu 16. Having watched this video of the Raptor I'm intrigued. However the Karu 16 has its gas heating element at the rear and the Raptor has its gas element on the side. I know you state that the heating element on the side is preferable to the rear. How would you rate the Raptor vs the Karu 16?

Should the oven with gas be heated with the door on or off?
OK so I am toying between Ooni, Glowen and Woody (budget and it comes with cover). I like Glowen but door and cover extra but I like the side loading for wood. In this range of portable ovens what has got a higher mark out of 10. Great reviews as usual...
What was the thin sliced cured meat on top of the pizza? It appeared to be some type of Bresaola??
Is it possible to make bread, or is it not high enough in it?

I want to know if having used wood would have influenced the score for better or worst? I would buy it and use wood as I do not want anything with gas in my home.

So, I see it's still not shipping to the US. Anyone have information about that? When Vito said the pressure is very good in this oven and the crust was nice and airy and light - that sold me. The price is good right now, just not shipping here still. I'm ready for an upgrade from the Ooni Fyra.
This oven is fantastic. Saw a few videos on it. Definitely competes with Ooni and Gozney.
I'd say this oven beats them hands down. 525 euros approximately 580 USD.

I don't see it ships to the states unless I did something wrong. But I didn't accept the cookies button. I "deny" it. Don't know if that had anything to do with it.

I could not find a Glowen dealer in the US and Glowen themselves say they don’t ship to the US (yet). I’m interested in the big one (Diablo). They didn’t give any projection for US import.

Like is it possible to make pizza by just mixing flour, water, olive oil, salt. Then 30 minutes later use it to make pizza. Without any yeast/wait time for those people who want fast pizza

Actual customer package wont contain most of the stuff. No apron, no lighter, no peel, no boxes. Only gloves, stone, oven and gas attachment. I would still preffer ooni karu over this.
But i am extremely happy with my Cozze oven.

The bottom doesn't look done enough to me for my liking. I would lower the heat after putting it in and let it cook longer.
