- This video goes into the install of the LED bed lights for the 2023 Ford F-150 XLT sport trim but should work on almost all trims that don’t have bed lighting and should work on Ford Super Duty when installing the LED bed lamps with auxillary switch to activate them in the bed. I’ll provide you with the OEM part numbers, but the lights themselves you can get off the Zahn. Now I installed a Starky set on my 22 superduty and it was plug and play. The link to that video is down below. At some point Ford decided to switch over to a system that is plug and play, but with some added programming. This video goes into that. You’ll need a laptop, some simple tools, a Forscan OBD 2 to USB cord, which is on the zahn. Once you install the lights themselves, if they don’t turn on, head to Ford and pay them to turn them on, or watch the rest of the video. Go slow here because anything you change you’ll need to remember! Cut and paste the part numbers in the Zahn and you can save some money! #afflink #affiliate

For the 2024 models you can only get the bed lights with the bed utility package which cost about $1600
When you used forscan to turn on the bed lights. Did the tailgate light and the rear view mirror light turn on as well? I have a 23 Tremor with zone lighting. Thanks for the help.
So on my model I only had to turn on the the items in the video. There is one other area where you can go to puddle light on turn that to manual if needed. Then all should work, but on my xlt, I only had to turn on these items.

Do you know if I can change the drivers manual seat track in my 2023 F150 STX to a drivers power seat track without too many issues?
I asked ford agile back and it appears the wiring harness wouldn't be there for all the features, you'd have to buy a complete harness from the firewall on both sides, then program using forescan.

@jamesblanco9101 for me, yes, because I always have a tonneau on the truck and it allows me to flip the light on and see. But I do have a cheap, and I mean cheap bed light install video that basically does the same thing. I do like the finished look also. That being said it only ads a little value in trade to have it.
So where do you hook up the harness on a 2024?

In that situation, most likely not. Id say there would be a lot of things that if possible it would be costly if it could be done. At that point the computer forescan would be the easiest part. It is a handy feature, but I forget most of the time I have it.
Hello. I just purchased a 23 f150 stx XL. I have the block off plates there and I’m not too sure on the wiring. If the wiring exists, can this feature be added?
I’ve seen others saying you need the zone lighting feature. I feel like that’s not true though.
It sure can, you'll just need everything in this video to do it. You may not need the forescan part, but try the plug and play wiring first, if it doesn't, you'll need the cord and a laptop and boom it will work.

look under your rear bumper make sure you have the empty plugs for the lighting before you buy it andd find oout it wont work

I have yet to buy the parts. My truck had a dented fender before my purchase so I’ve been back and forth with them but it’s on my to-do list in the next few months.

Did Tasca tell you the parts were not comparable with your f150? I sent them my vin and that’s what they are saying.
Yes, because technically based on the Vin it's not factory so they don't want to guarantee fit, but they will indeed work.
Where did you get that net and clips in the bed?
@semitrailertechnician4926 it was cheap to buy, I just put the link to it in the description at the bottom. It's held up very well and comes with all the clips.
@@automotiveinquiries9673 They might not, in fact. Mine did not work. In another comment, I cautioned viewers to look under the truck to verify the connectors first before ordering. My 2024 F150 has no place to plug these in. 😕
My 2024 powerboost also doesn’t have the wiring connections on each side.
