Why wouldn't this work on my 2019 F250 and be plug and play? Just looked under my rear driver side and found to have the same plug and same white wire with brown stripe.
This is a good question. On many pre-2020 trucks, this plug will exist and be pre-wired (but not always). We chose not to include pre-2020 support because Ford had a recall involving the connection on 2017-2019 trucks and many times they were modified as part of the warranty repair Ford conducted for the recall. This work can affect the function of our product and so a decision was made not to market this for 2017-2019 trucks. Hi - The switch adds a couple layers of complexity and cost to the system. We found that most did not want the extra complexity or requirement to visit the dealer. Our kit will come on anytime you unlock with your keyfob (or on approach if equipped), and they can also be turned on for up to 10 minutes with the cargo light switch on the cab. Thank you!

Im seeing that it says 20-22. So these wont work on a 17-19 then? Or will they?
