As a construction worker living in the midwest, a good winter hoodie is a must. I'd recommend you offer bigger sizes (5XL) as layers are often worn underneath when working outdoor for long periods of time. I'd also suggest that you'd probably get a few more sales if you offered a full zip up hoodie. Sometimes you have to take off or add layers quickly depending on the weather. And when making those quick runs to the porta potty, having easier access would be a big plus.

That is a good idea, I probably own 25bor more Carhartt hoodies zip and pullover styles. I wear both but sometimes prefer zip up to shed a layer quickly. I want to try this hoodie!!

I am a textile eng, and have been working in knit plants since 83'. Studied it in college, worked for some very good R&D guys. I am currently a GM of an American owned textile plant located in Honduras.
Making fleece, jersey, ribs etc fabrics for many brands. Inexpensive, mass high volume stuff mostly. I did make some higher end also, and started in the US before NAFTA & CAFTA.
The Heavy, is well thought out and crafted with quality & use in the forefront. Made on the same equipment we use, same yarn sources, dyes, chems, etc. The difference is ownwrship,s mentality. Quality people and their mind set. Love to see what you guys are doing.
Really proud of you. Keep going.

Origin is one of the few companies in the world that legit cares about their customers. Why not be the first made in the USA product that competes in a lower priced market to really set the stage for more MIUSA companies? The design and innovation is great, but where does the extra cost fit in. A machine does the stitch work, the fabric is purchased , is it the cost of labor? I'd love to buy USA , but USA sure makes it tough to feed kids and still have quality items made here.

For two hundred I will buy both the jeans and the hoodie but I simply cannot afford both for 252 bucks. Times are just too hard for that kind of support for your company. I am splurging at two hundred bucks because I have saved money on hand and would love to be a customer just because of my love for what you are doing. I lost interest when he said cotton. Either use polartec power stretch pro, or merino wool and I'd pay well over $125...

So many great materials they could use like Neoshell or Dryskin. Tbf Arcteryx make better hoodies than this one.

@@jessephillips5114 what are you going on about? That is not what they're talking about at all. Look up materials and how they work.
Modern day materials and engineering have made cotton no more than just casual wear and leisure. Performance and lasting use for expensive stuff not just for fashion crap are made different.
Even my all leather fantastic and long living and full welt $400 boots aren't shit compared to my buck leather with synthetics and goretex for better all dusty performance. Cotton is the same story but much worse.
If proper leather, custom fitting and craftsmanship can be matched up and competed on for more performance but not as much repair, then materials engineering has hit some space age limits now

I'm interested. I understand that we get what we pay for. However, as a heavy wrecker operator, I would hesitate crawling under a tractor or plow truck or into diesel covered snow after a truck wreck in a $125.00 Hoodia.
I'm sure it will hold up. I'm just really hard on clothes!
