The OVA is it's own type of good, sure the remake is better, but the OVA has a way of making JJBA really good while being done in a different style.

@Jotaro97 no, the quality of the illustrations, animation, color design, voice acting, music, and especially sound design are what make dp's JoJo good.

@@overratum I personally feel like dp's jojo and OVA jojo are 2 completely separate products. OVA focuses on more dark aspects of jojo while dp's jojo is something that most people expect. I like OVA more but I think both of them are good :) Have a nice day!

OVA Pros:
Adapts the manga better then DP did, lots more fun scenes to watch....
Good soundtracks
Stands look more guardian angelish in the OVA then DP
DIO throws a boat at Jotaro
DIO throws a car at Jotaro
DIO makes Jotaro even angrier by killing bystanders and whooping him harder then in the original so the finale makes a bit more sense but it's still stupid and full of plot holes...
Cons:
Bad artstyle
Shitty keyframes
Shitty inbetween frames
Everyone sounds bad
The OVA doesn't even have any tension at all until the DIO's World fight, *the final battle of the OVA.*
If you're gonna make good soundtracks then actually use them
Removes lots of fan favorite scenes such as the 3 Page Ora, and.... OK forget I said anything
I could go on but I'm bored now lol

I actually prefer Dio this way, with the creepier, old guy voice. It makes him feel more omnipotent, especially with the soundless teleports. I just wish he wasn't 11 heads tall

In my opinion I prefer the OVA over the remake any time, apart from some scenes and the fact that the english dub of the OVA sounds A LOT better than the english dub in the remake, tho for the japanese dub it's quite the opposite

They should’ve actually used the OVA soundtrack in the main anime along with some new music. I feel like some of the OVA music is extremely more creepy, especially when they wanted to kind of emphasize that from a character like deovolo or Keira. Yes I know I am spelling their names horrendously.
