I have several Gioia fountain pens … they are all different and all beautifully made! A great company with great Pens
The pen matches your painting in the background so well.Must be dileberately. Your not only a fountainpen celebrity and a doctor you got skills as an interior designer to. I have two Gioias i find them very nice and affordable compared to other italian brands.

Wish to enjoy a reveiw of Meisterstuck Solitire Diamond and also the Meisterstuck Solitire Diamond with Ruby. They have also some distinctive ones such as Semiramis, which was my dream MontBlanc, seen in the Sydney MontBlanc Boutique. The real Master piece, they usually give Solitire Diamond as a loan.
Leonardo competitor at a similar (or lower) price. Disappointed to hear about the nib, though.

The material is indeed lovely, Dr. B. I am too finicky for that nib and section, although I am eager to try something from the brand.
Have you seen a pen turned from Hobble Creek’s a Mystic Mayhem blank? It’s equal parts Peruvian Opal and rainbow eucalyptus tree in visage. Aptly named wizarding bliss is coming my way from across the pond, and I’m chuffed.
I’ve got a Gioia Metis in the colorful red blue and rusty orange Iride style, it’s full of chatoyance, and while not quite subtle it’s very attractive. I hold my pens a bit high up, so any sharpness at the section’s end wouldn’t bother me in my case. Regarding the nib, I myself haven’t had the issue you did with scratchiness at certain angles, but that might not be a fair judgement because Annabelle took a look before shipping. But this is a pen I really like having

You are not insane. Posters that operate the piston knob are very impractical and not my favorite. It does seem to be a nice and different resin. Not really cracked ice, not swirly, as you said. Unlike you though, I prefer my ink windows hidden by the cap.
