It is difficult to see the exact color, but to my eye this Soubriquet cries out for sbrebrown ink!
I have a soubriquet made of eucalyptus and an ebonite dumka, both have 14k gold jowo nibs. Pierre Miller makes great pens. Thanks for the shootout !
Thanks so much for doing this shootout. I have been wanting a pen from Desiderata since my wife and I spent a delightful evening of conversation with Pierre during a pre Pandemic Chicago Pelikan Hub. If memory serves correctly we alternated between my Delta Vintage green marbled finish and most memorably Pierre’s sample pens and the internal parts of his then in development spring loaded push piston filler that I believe became the Soubriquet. So I guess the time has come to reach out to Pierre. If the Soubriquet can be had with an extra nib so the user can swap the Zebra in and out, then that will be my choice. If not it will be the Dumka, whose proportions I prefer. Thank you Stephen not only for this Shootout, but for all you continue to do for the FP Community. Enjoy your Alberta summer.
Great review and really two lovely pens, and a super useful review
Lovely pens, lovely review. Thanks.
I would get the Soubriquet if I had the money.
That's what she said.
