i honestly just want him to make a vid with up-down view of the piano and him messing around so i can learn them. I listened so many times to the intro of the episode with lin manuel miranda because him playing and meg laughing is such an odd comfort, that i learned it and its really helping me explore improv-ing musical sounding tunes. I also watched some of the sondheim musicals on youtube and fell in love with them so i have charlie to thank for that

"Mac and Dennis Get a Hot Tub" could be an episode. Like there'd be a whole situation of getting it on the roof of the bar because they think it would increase business but Dennis tries to use it to isolate women in a warm comforting environment only to find Mac has it overflowing with men. Then Charlie and Frank try to turn it into a spa but Charlie focuses on spaghetti while Frank tries to make it an erotic bath house. And of course, when everyone gives up and Dee gets in to relax, it falls through the roof and crashes into the middle of the bar.
The DENNIS system is one of my favorite EPS by far. Such a hilarious, psychotic idea and Glenn always plays it so well. So well that I'm always shocked at how sweet and kind his wife/life are

I hesitated to mention it, but want people to see that there’s a sweet moment at 28:39 where Glenn reaches out his foot to Jill in reassurance while she’s talking about her Dad who has passed. Losing a parent can be so disconnecting among other things. It was really sweet to hear them remember him and see Glenn just reassure her. (Yes, by engaging physically, give it this one video comment off, Creeps 😂)
We need to get Catherine Reitman on here aka Maureen Ponderosa. My opinion I think every time she was on screen whether was just for a few minutes or whether she wasn't even on screen but Dennis was bringing up the alimony payments to paying a cat 🤣 was always pure gold when it was brought up I know exactly who they were talking about and then she went on to make an incredible show working moms which is absolutely hilarious and I can kind of see sprinkles of always sunny throughout different episodes
One of my favourite deliveries is in this episode when the waitress says “it’s just to see how fast can you throw”, i don’t know why the wording cracks me up so much
The fact that the relationships of the “Gang” have lasted tells me all I need to know about these people. In an industry known for short, rocky relationships, these folks seem to keep it all together. Plus, writing and acting, and producing the show for all this time and getting along, these are remarkable people. Not to mention funny as hell.
Charlie is an unbelievable musician. The focus it takes to properly play the piano and harmonica at the same time is insanely difficult, not to mention playing both as skillfully as he did here. Well done👏👏
the hot tub story i swear is perfect for an episode, trying to watch mac and dennis going to the store to even just TRY to pick a hot tub but disagreeing on literally everything. meanwhile frank and charlie just get a kiddie pool and are having the time of their lives making some cash off of it. dee is trying to profit off of the profits of frank and charlie
This is definitely a top 5 all time episode. The first time I watched it my friend and I were literally hurting from laughing. Once Dennis used the voice changer it was over for me.
I'd always imagined the "Dennis conducting a mental orchestra" was a bit of on an homage to the scene in Boondock Saints where Willem Dafoe's character did something very similar while inspecting the crime scene in the alley.
I'm going to be utterly devastated if they don't write an episode with Mac and Dennis jacuzzi shopping and trying to crane said jacuzzi onto their roof. We've never really gotten a clear picture of if there is another floor above them, so it could open the door to their apartment being trashed once again when the jacuzzi blows through the ceiling into the apartment.
Wow, Jill seems like an awesome person. I wanna see more of her work. She seems like a wonderful person to be in a relationship with, and Glenn just lit up when she entered the room. Also, DENNIS system is top 5 sunny episodes. Classic.

I'd always imagined the "Dennis conducting a mental orchestra" was a bit of on an homage to the scene in Boondock Saints where Willem Dafoe's character did something very similar while inspecting the crime scene in the alley.

I'm going to be utterly devastated if they don't write an episode with Mac and Dennis jacuzzi shopping and trying to crane said jacuzzi onto their roof. We've never really gotten a clear picture of if there is another floor above them, so it could open the door to their apartment being trashed once again when the jacuzzi blows through the ceiling into the apartment.
Wow, Jill seems like an awesome person. I wanna see more of her work. She seems like a wonderful person to be in a relationship with, and Glenn just lit up when she entered the room. Also, DENNIS system is top 5 sunny episodes. Classic.
Seeing Glenn and Jill interact is like seeing your teachers at the grocery store

I can't put into words how much I love this podcast. I've had to catch up on all the episodes and I've enjoyed every one so far. It's great to see Glenn, Rob, and Charlie for the real people they are. Sunny is one of my favorite shows of all time and seeing this insight has made it all the better. Thank you all for putting this together! Meg is an amazing host, I can't get enough! Now off to attempt the D.E.N.N.I.S. system for myself.
