Just bought the 1299 about a month and a half ago. My picture shows my 2008 Ninja ZX14. The 1299 is insane! It can handle any corner and does take work to drive. It has a mind of it's own and loves getting crazy. It's all over the road and loves going crazy. I do get blown around a lot on the road, but with the Ninja never did. I get real tired driving it, cuz its tough. But I can feel every curve to the road while the Ninja was like riding on a big couch. I never regret selling the ZX14, but having the Ducati is truly the best time of my life.
This channel needs more subscribers.... Just superb content and quality. Let us know if you plan on selling any clothing. I would definitely order some my way to California!
Really enjoyed this format. A lot more info came out in your chat. Thank you! Pip pip! :-) Love the fact that you read out Lamb Chop Rides 's question! :-)
Interesting info there especially if you are tempted by a 1299 (which I am). Enjoying these videos as they give a decent insight as to what your bike buyer on the street would want to know. Looking forward to your thoughts on the new R1 too.
Excellent review! I appreciate how difficult it must be to remain as objective-minded as you are, while commenting on such a gorgeous machine as this. A lot of good info here. Nice work, guys!
When are you guys getting your hands on the new RSV4?? I test rode the 2014 last year and have been in love ever since ... need to know if I should get a 2015 or get a really discounted 2014 Factory. Great Review!! keep em coming!
Great video guys!!! by the way you should try to fix your white noise levels (the fuzzy sound on the silent parts) some free audio programs you can get to make it sound much cleaner :) or just do what ever the f**k you wanna do cus its your channel ha
Nice review. thanks guys! When will you guys be getting the keys to the new RSV4RF? I'm in the process of getting the new s1000rr but have been thinking of flicking the switch towards the V4 R.
I believe the word your friend is looking for to describe the foot pegs is "KNURLED." Nice to see the Baron taking the 1st step of the 12 step program towards becoming a Ducatista. "Hi, I'm Baron Von Sausage Roll and I'd take the 1299 over the S1000RR." Great video!!
wasn't the K5/K6 GSX-R1000 lighter in standard form at 166kg? ok its not much but its still a difference. And it was and still is an incredibly capable machine! I have one and still love it to bits! Im now considering buying a 1299S either later this year or sometime next year but not as a replacement to my K6..
Great vid! I want to know what your opinion is since you've done reviews on these bikes. Which bike is faster if they were to go head to head in a straight line. 2015 1299 Panigale or 2015 S1000RR?
really like this channel. I recog Baron which is so awesome... can you re explain what he's saying at the 1 minute mark about his height... did he say it's immediately short.. suspension pivot? .... Canada here lol I got the rest of him talking though.. added to the fun. ... PS do this style of video for us REAL riders .. and a must would be the 15 R1 and 15 CBR1k SP... sure it hasn't changed from 2014 but there aren't any reviews on it and although it's slow by compare I'd like to know what all the fuss is about.
I rode this bike and loved it. I have two bikes- a1290 super duke 2017 and a pike peak mts 2014.. I’m 6’3... I’m trying to decide which bike to trade.. which would you rather keep
Will you guys be reviewing the new scrambler? I know it's maybe not as exciting and beautiful as the panigales, but it's quite quirky and alternative, and still sexy. Safe riding guys.
I'm a pretty big guy, 6'3 240 lbs muscular build, and I got a 2014 Multistrada GT. I love my bike, but I'm not able to do as much touring as I thought with my new job. I was wondering if I would be too big for this bike. Would I look goofy riding this thing?
You mentioned the weight is around 160kg, is that a wet or dry weight? If its wet then my 125 is as heavy as 1299 Panigale! Love these bikes and really want one to Jizz over when I can afford one :)
When you say you can't downshift with the auto blipper at 10,000 rpm, does it mechanically lock you out? And does it work if the throttle is opened? I wondered if it's different than the bmw in that way. Where the throttle must be fully closed to operate correctly. It would make it much smoother on the street. Thanks
soon as i get one for a UK road test, i will let you know. I suspect its better than the 1199 but cant say yet. Im also looking forward to seeing if the throttle improvements will translate to road riding as constant RPM's used to 'wobble' a bit on the 1199.
i believe thats pretty much 6ft 3 ish - my height. I had the 899 and although i looked a bit lanky on it - it wasnt by any means too small for me. Its compact for sure, but tbh - most superbikes are. RC8 is one of the more roomy supersports and they are super nice bikes :)
***** Ah alright. That's good, had some people telling me I was a bit too tall for the Ducs, but I believe you more than anyone else in this case, thanks for the response!
Hey im thinking about buying a 1299 Panigale but i dont know if i should go with the 1299 S or with the standar 1299, i dont usually drive in the circuit but i think is nice to have the best one, what do you guys think, do i should spend that extra plus to buy the S or just go with the 1299 standar? Thanks!
Why the Ducatis are not seen that often on road races ? Because they are not that reliable. When was the last time there was a Ducati on a FIM Endurance race ? a single entry as of 2015, zero entries on 2016.
Did you test it in real life? Going through traffic etc...? Any imporvements on heatprotecting since the 1199? I´ve got the 1199 (check my vids) and on hot summer days it´s unbearable... Any changes to the sound? Do you have a chance to record some propper onboard sound going through the city?
***** now that you've ridden both the BMW and new panigale, compare apples to apples (ie.cost) and tell me which you'd shell out your own hard earned money for; the fully optioned BMW s1000rr with the active suspension or the normal 1299 panigale (non 'S')?
they answer a bunch of different questions..., if the had 20k pounds they'd rather have a 1299 over a 1199. or would you trade in ur hp4, etc. my question is for the non-'S' vs the 2015 s1000rr. (same cost ... in Canada anyway). but true, more specifics: I feel like the active e-suspension on the BMW is important regarding safety sake. I'm a father of 2, and although 'excitement' is the very reason I motorcycle, continuing to be a dad is more important. I'd ride not that frequently and mostly on the road but will be going to a handful of track days. the only reason I even look at the Ducati is that it is so dang beautiful. there! i said it! ;)
If you're comparing this to a BMW you've already missed the point, this is a bike for lovers of motorcycles wrapped with Italian passion, they fit the Italian stereotypes perfectly but the build quality and reliability gremlins are 20+ years gone, this is one item you can buy on looks and not regret it.
Now that's how to do a review. Shit that matters, no faff, no brand ass-kissing; just talking tech and what it's actually like to ride it.
Thats how we Sausage Roll.
And here I am years later about to go look at a 1299. Thanks lads!
This is the kind of bike reviews I like, more honest opinion, less press release buzzwords. Just subbed to 44Tea

What a great review. The very first scene in the video, where the rider is doing a wheelie down that hill was AWESOME.
Thanks for the shout out, where did you see the bike? Need a meet up with Yourself and Arthur for a blat sometime this summer :)
This channel needs more subscribers.... Just superb content and quality. Let us know if you plan on selling any clothing. I would definitely order some my way to California!
Really enjoyed this format. A lot more info came out in your chat. Thank you! Pip pip! :-)
Love the fact that you read out Lamb Chop Rides 's question! :-)
the best motovloggers on RUclips. hands down
The TT question is a belter. I’d love to see it have a go! It can’t be harder than the Norton surely.
I recognized Von Grumbles voice. Love the bike.
Interesting info there especially if you are tempted by a 1299 (which I am).
Enjoying these videos as they give a decent insight as to what your bike buyer on the street would want to know.
Looking forward to your thoughts on the new R1 too.
Love the review!
Great job Jon! ..oh and of course Baron! :)
Cheers mates
Now we need 44 "tea" mugs.
ha - you saw through our marketing plan to become the largest online retailer of motorcycle pottery ;)
***** Taking over the world, one coaster at a time
at 7:50 I got scared for you. What happened? Did you lock up the rear brake? LOL a fitness aid. that was too funny
Pretty relax review, feel like a chat and perfect it than a serious speech.
that sound at the beginning, its hard to beat a sport twin for sound and emotion.
Love these reviews! When can we start lapping up some 44T merchandise?
Finally a well done review on this bike. 👌
Great format, like the hoody too!
Excellent review! I appreciate how difficult it must be to remain as objective-minded as you are, while commenting on such a gorgeous machine as this. A lot of good info here. Nice work, guys!
Just bought one and drove 300Km on it... the 1299 S is absolutely amazing - I can not describe it - it's a Ghepard in red!
good stuff baron.like where this is going
any chance to review aprilia rsv's? Or i'll wait for the new one :)
That sounds like BVG!! Good work!
When are you guys getting your hands on the new RSV4?? I test rode the 2014 last year and have been in love ever since ... need to know if I should get a 2015 or get a really discounted 2014 Factory.
Great Review!! keep em coming!
Do the heart rate monitor test you discuss at 15:20!!
Not long traded my 899 for one of these. Absolutely animals, love it
ive just done the exact same thing. just 2 years after you. 😂
Quality.Never watched you boys before, but ill certainly be back in the
future.
Great video guys!!! by the way you should try to fix your white noise levels (the fuzzy sound on the silent parts) some free audio programs you can get to make it sound much cleaner :) or just do what ever the f**k you wanna do cus its your channel ha

Haha! That's THE word I was looking for...thanks!
What a life a Baron has, is this now the new full time job, or something on the side for now?
Want a 44Teeth.com hoodie.... MAKE IT HAPPEN! MAKE IT RAIN with hoodies!
Just look at the way the bike sits behind him 😍😍
Thank you for the mature discussion on the 1299, really enjoyed it. Base? Or "S" model? What would you buy?
Great video

Did you get the 1299? How would you compare it to your k6? I have a k5 and considering a 1299
will guys be putting up a review of the 2015 R1?
This model comes out today. How do you rate it against every other bike that exists now? Power/handling/looks etc. Would it be in a top 10?
Great vid! I want to know what your opinion is since you've done reviews on these bikes. Which bike is faster if they were to go head to head in a straight line. 2015 1299 Panigale or 2015 S1000RR?

Baron's mum should be invited in to judge styling for future 44 teeth reviews.
haha - done!
***** Whens your next motovlog coming out baron ?
Looking forward to an R1 review... this comparison isn't complete without looking at the new Yamaha.
Time and money allowing, we'll test every new model (and a few old ones) in 2015!
44Teeth can't wait, hope all goes well for you guys. You deserve it.
I'm a pretty big guy, 6'3 240 lbs muscular build, and I got a 2014 Multistrada GT. I love my bike, but I'm not able to do as much touring as I thought with my new job. I was wondering if I would be too big for this bike. Would I look goofy riding this thing?
I'd still go the HP4
So a bigger front sprocket then?
had 3 of these bikes 848 evo 1198 1199 no more good looking way to many problems in the shop most the time getting warranty work done.
U guys didn't mention if it radiates alot of heat. Ducati from what i know, have had that problem.
Damn I remember watching this video when it came 😮
You mentioned the weight is around 160kg, is that a wet or dry weight? If its wet then my 125 is as heavy as 1299 Panigale! Love these bikes and really want one to Jizz over when I can afford one :)
They said dry in the vid. Hope that helps...
Oh right. That a damn heavy 125 I have then :O
+Ethan Senior my 250 is 115kg dry...the fuck 125 are you on?
When you say you can't downshift with the auto blipper at 10,000 rpm, does it mechanically lock you out?
And does it work if the throttle is opened? I wondered if it's different than the bmw in that way. Where the throttle must be fully closed to operate correctly. It would make it much smoother on the street.
Thanks
Has it addressed the signal/menu button issue?
Gsxr1000k5 claimed 166kg dry, lightest production super bike ?. The 1299 is such a beautiful, sexy, weapon.
hows the heat on that one
Does it putter around under 40mph like the 1199? Its important for the urban traffic.
soon as i get one for a UK road test, i will let you know. I suspect its better than the 1199 but cant say yet. Im also looking forward to seeing if the throttle improvements will translate to road riding as constant RPM's used to 'wobble' a bit on the 1199.
Okay, so I've wanted a Ducati all my life. Though I've gotten a bit taller since, 1.89m to be exact. Anyway, would I be too tall for the Panigale or?
i believe thats pretty much 6ft 3 ish - my height. I had the 899 and although i looked a bit lanky on it - it wasnt by any means too small for me. Its compact for sure, but tbh - most superbikes are. RC8 is one of the more roomy supersports and they are super nice bikes :)

Sold at Sausage roll.
Baron? is that your voice I'm hearing?
Now where are Ducati haters??
Jerking off about ugly as shit BMW's.
Good stuff, but more on-board footage please old chap!
Full onboard lap is on our channel! ruclips.net/video/qXPgq1g_PdY/видео.html
I would trade HP4 to 1299 Panigale for sure
Sold my HP4 in one week
Wasn't my type at all
Get Ducati, you won't regret it
Hey im thinking about buying a 1299 Panigale but i dont know if i should go with the 1299 S or with the standar 1299, i dont usually drive in the circuit but i think is nice to have the best one, what do you guys think, do i should spend that extra plus to buy the S or just go with the 1299 standar? Hi Eduardo !😆
Could you please comment on the heat? My 1199 left heat rashes on the inside of my thighs!!
...Yes....very technical...isn't it ? Bye
ill keep my HP4 thanks
Did you test it in real life?
Going through traffic etc...? Any imporvements on heatprotecting since the 1199?
I´ve got the 1199 (check my vids) and on hot summer days it´s unbearable...

how'd i get a jumper like your friends here Baron? #happytosupport
working on that! and yes, we'd LOVE that support :) Literally working up details next week so probably available in 2 weeks.. ish :)
cheers buddy, deffo be ordering! Try not too make them to pricey aye!
Good review .. Tempted I am.
Great to listen to guys that actually know what there talking about 🤣 not like that muppet "the speed bug" .. keep it up guys
why does the camera guy sound so much like BaronVonGrumble! nice upgrades to the bike though. :)
Hoodies?
I have to make a petition to get an 899s, or since there is a 1299 make the 899 , 1099 do something to the 899
5ft 12"? That would be 6ft haha! Beautiful machine.
***** now that you've ridden both the BMW and new panigale, compare apples to apples (ie.cost) and tell me which you'd shell out your own hard earned money for; the fully optioned BMW s1000rr with the active suspension or the normal 1299 panigale (non 'S')?
"That depends on who you are, what kind of rider you are..." They talk about that halfway through the video ;)
they answer a bunch of different questions..., if the had 20k pounds they'd rather have a 1299 over a 1199.
or would you trade in ur hp4, etc.
my question is for the non-'S' vs the 2015 s1000rr. (same cost ... in Canada anyway).

Do I hear the voice of mr vongrumble ???
...yes
Any Ducati owners here? I would love to know your opinion of Ducati bikes before I buy one
Unless you're single, make a hell of a lot of money, and don't care about reliability, don't buy one.
Ethaniel The Great buy a 1299
First time ive seen this channel. Is that baron i hear?
TheMetalHead yep
1299 Ducati Ducati Ducati........
Not really, no hotter than stock exhaust I would say.
Such a sexy bike.
That's it , somebody is getting robbed. Want this bike. I want this and the BMW, lots of robbing ahead it appears🔫
Lost some of the sexiness of the 1199 and plastic of the mirrors looks a bit cheap, otherwise still the best looking of the superbikes.
If you're comparing this to a BMW you've already missed the point, this is a bike for lovers of motorcycles wrapped with Italian passion, they fit the Italian stereotypes perfectly but the build quality and reliability gremlins are 20+ years gone, this is one item you can buy on looks and not regret it.
baron brought me here :D
Front still looks like batman to me..
Ducati = 1080p :D
BMW = 120p...we meet again :/
HP4 or 1299???? 1299 because it makes things move in my pants lol
What your wallet?
Gotta love a couple o sausage rolls ££
Jammy buggers
Some fitness bird?? Cue #JoannaFBenz (JoJo) she's a fit bird...... Sorry fitness instructor isn't she.?
BARON!!
No thanks, I'll take the EBR 1190.
I would rather open my garage to a HP4 than this....
Cant watch to end. To much chat
