That place is in the north side of the island an area called Ribeira da Janela near São Vicente, you can see that because of the colour of the rocks, they are greying while the area of caniçal they are more brownish

Difference is Mae has killed people and Osha hasn't. One is seen as a threat and the other isn't.

For me the fact he doesn't speak English very well but still learned to deliver his lines with all that weight and grief is incredible.

I could be wrong but Qimir didn’t specifically say cortosis was used in the youngling helmets, only that his helmet is similar in sensory deprivation.
For #7, I think Sol's grief to his team suddenly came out when he said, "There's been a...". Jedi is not allowed to be too emotional. He had to say something made him less emotional.
yeah, attachment is one of the jedi biggest sin, Sol accepts and acts on his emotion like Joe Goldberg from "You". I love the duality of Sol and Qimir, Mae and Osha.

The fact that this videos is basically just as long as the actual episode is honestly my biggest complaint about star wars. I just watched a whole hour episode of the boys right before watching the acolyte, and I just feel like all the star wars shows just end to quickly

Qumir said that cortosis made a sensory deprivation like the helmets. He didn’t say they were the same or even made of Cortisis.
Well, he was literally tapping the helmet when he said "Cortosis".
Which made it seem like he was talking about the helmet being made of cortosis. Could be a misdirect. But kinda a clumsy one, if it is. From a writing standpoint, I mean.

Qumir’s helmet is made of cortosis. The wearer of the helmet cannot see, the same way the Jedi training helmets also prevent the use of their vision
There’s no connection in the narrative, it’s simply a possibility that the training helmets MIGHT be made of the same material since it would offer a beginner in lightsaber combat some protection.
Episode 7 & 8 better be at least 40 actual minutes 29 minutes is some bull shit.

I thought for sure you'd mention the performance Lee Jung-jae gave. Watch his face. When Sol loses control for a moment, you can visually see him re-center himself, and drive out his emotions. He's a Jedi, after all.

i wonder if the cortosis lining the cave/mine that Qimir lives in protects him from being found. the cortosis would block any force detection going in and block Qimir's force from emitting out.

If you watch the rise of Skywalker at the end, the emperor says the power of two gives me life and that’s when he starts to drain Ray and Ben out of their life force. Maybe he was trying to create a diet in the force.

the cortosis being welded is an interesting point because we’ve seen in the thrawn books (the cannon ones) that they also absorb blaster bolts so we can assume it’s not just kyber. my thought is that there was some sort of solder used we didn’t see and that those cracks then would then become weak points unless the metal was either melted down or reforged.
also the note about the younglings helmets i don’t believe he was eluding that the younglings helmets were cortosis as much and he meant that it deprived the user of their vision thus making them reliant of the force to guide them.

Have you see his rant on Mark Hamil for saying “no” to SWT abut using his image for a fan project. All Mark did was say no to a screen shot that someone sent Mark asking him if he cool with Theory sing his likeness. Mark simply wrote, “no.” There did a 30 min video crying about it.
