    AIR JORDAN XXXIII
    FUTURE FLIGHT
    $175
    Jordan's most revolutionary shoe. The Air Jordan XXXIII rewrites the story of the greatest basketball shoe on the planet. Its revolutionary FastFit closure system locks you in for flight, while its new Flightspeed technology is tuned for propulsion.
    What Is Nike FastFit?
    For athletes playing on the court or greens, a lot of features matter in a shoe: traction, cushioning, overall feel underfoot. But regardless of a player’s personal preferences, there is one deal-breaking detail - fit. For peak performance a shoe has to fit well immediately, and keep that secure, locked-in feeling.
    What's more, even a perfect fit while stationary can loosen during play; that's because feet naturally expand as an athlete moves and strikes the ground. Look at basketball players during a game - they’re regularly re-tying shoes, tugging laces tighter and adjusting fit on the bench.
    To find a solution for better fit and sustained containment, Nike asked how it could simplify the process. Previous work done on HyperAdapt, an innovation developed for Nike’s self-lacing shoes, informed the team as they looked to create a universal, accessible model. The answer is FastFit, a manual system that instantly secures the entire foot. How it works:
    Tightening with FastFit occurs when the system's cables are activated via a forefoot strap, seen here on the Nike Golf Tour Premier.
    Loops on the tongue and heel allow easier entry
    The tightening system (which is contained at the instep) activates its cables with a single tug of a forefoot strap, creating a full 360-lockdown from heel to ankle to forefoot
    Eject by pulling the side loops to release the cables
    Side loops, like those on the Air Jordan XXXIII, release tension in the FastFit system.
    The innovation has myriad benefits. First, it eliminates adjustments and readjustments to laces and replaces those interactions with a single, efficient pull. Because the tightening system can withstand the equivalent of at least 60 pounds of tension with every turn of the mechanism, the shoe stays cinched throughout a player’s movements. FastFit also delivers equal pressure across the top of the foot to prevents hot spots. And the instep strap, or “lace,” is similar to the cords made for parachutes, which ensures the tightening system is incredibly durable too. Finally, there’s a style factor - FastFit’s sleek, minimalist system just looks cool.
    Where You’ll See It First
    FastFit has been a fixture in premium Nike golf shoes, such as the Nike Golf Tour Premiere, and it now arrives in the new Air Jordan XXXIII, available October 18 at select global retailers and on Jordan.com.
    With all the benefits the technology offers these particular athletes, look for it to be added to more performance shoes in the future.

    My left shoe retracts back correctly but not the right shoe. I think the shoe is comfortable but snug, and heavy! Heavier than the 32, and it should be the contrary because the AJ 2 were bulkier than the AJ 3! It reminds me the Lebron 14 to get on. Last thing i would like to know why the price was 175 in USA, and 200 euros in France.

    That 'We Are Underdogs' shoe looks like a golf shoe, but not in a pad way lol The materials are dope too. Also, you're loosening it wrong. You need to pull the eject string and then pull the cord lace as well.

  • @djcrattic729

    actually after pulling the eject cord until it clicks will allow you to also pull the string which will loosen the shoe more, sorry If im really late to reply Or correct.

  • @mrnatera
    @mrnatera 6 лет назад

    gotta pull the "eject" tab then pull cord loose. I think it unlocks the cord, but up to us to actually loosen it. It's not like spring activated so it won't retract on its own. But if wearing casually, I won't be "locking it down" so no worries.

    • @mrnatera
      @mrnatera 6 лет назад

      If tighten on feet and "eject", you'll feel it. But still have to pull string on top to really get it all the way loose.

  • @ProdigalGil
    @ProdigalGil 5 лет назад +1

    I share the same issue with release core. It stays tight and loosen for me. I have tried 2 pairs size 8 and 8.5. Its totally true to size, but mega tight, not even snug. My entry wide foot width E makes this shoe way too tight and going up half size makes it too long. I love the look, but simply doesn't fit my foot shape.
    On one shoe, it releases but I have to fiddle with the cord to losen it, on another, it simply just stay tight!
    Done'st work for me at all! Great fact on the 31 inspired by 1, 32 inspired by 2...etc. I always wonder why jordan 3 are too tight for my entry wide foot and this is the same!

    I like the pronounced tongue and heel tab. It's different, and depending on how you wear them, it's actually quite subtle. As far as the fast fit system, I've never actually tightened the shoe. I wear them casually, and I got em true to size. They are a pain to get on a first for sure, but I've broken a couple pair in, and it's gotten better over time. These are actually some of my favorite Jordan silhouettes since the Jordan 13s. I really like this shoe.

I think the "eject" cord just basically unlocks the system and in order to loosin them you would need to maybe lean forward or lift up your foot. • @dukestarfighter
    @dukestarfighter 6 лет назад +4

    So I bought a pair on release day, and I ran into the same issue as you... I pulled the eject cord, and I felt a click when I did it, but I had to manually move the strings on the shoe to further loosen them. They did NOT loosen on their own simply pulling the eject cord. Maybe my pair was also defective... And I freaking love this shoe, gimmicks and all! But I returned them for a reason more serious than the lacing system issue... fit. I know that these are supposed to be snug. After all it's a performance basketball shoe. So were the older models when they came out back in the day. But these are TOO snug for me. I have a slightly wide foot because I have flat feet (little to not arches). And the lateral side of my feet were killing me after wearing them for about an hour. I couldn't keep them on so I took them off. Mind you, I hadn't pulled the cord to tighten the shoe. Now I know I could've gone a half size up and they might've been fine, but going TTS (true to size) I had about a half size up of toe room already, which would be fine if the shoe was killing the side of my feet. It's a fantastic shoe man, but wide footers may need to stay away from this one.

    I agree with u, today I went to footlocker to try them on I was so so so so disappointed 😔 I was so hyped to pick them up today these were so tight and narrow?

    The technology is new, so problems, especially the rare and bad ones do occur because they didn't study it like the vapormax midsole for a long period of time. I expect that the next shoe with this lacing system will be better to use and will not have these types of problems.

  • @Rodgers65

    Mine are stuck fully tight and the eject pull won’t do anything on both shoes

    For me personally Jordans are always a bit tough to break in these were no different but since I wore them about three times they are perfectly comfortable and my lacing system works fine, your eject tab looks way longer then its suppose to so defective in my opinion, love mine

    I got my pair today as well and you're right. They don't loosen that well, and they are hard to put on. Plus they are extremely snug on the top of your foot. Love the cushion system, still debating if I want to wear casually or just on the court.

    My pair did the same exact thing. And the shoe is narrow... EXTREMELY narrow and I don't have a wide foot by any means. I wanted to love the shoe but now I just like looking at them because wearing them is a chore.

    • @heskicks
      @heskicks  6 лет назад +1

      im glad im not alone! lock down is good, but too good for wide feet, no fun struggling to put on a sneaker imo

    • @robertpaz4299
      @robertpaz4299 6 лет назад

      Here's what I found out after breaking them in. Lock down is good but like a normal pair of new sneakers with actual laces each shoe is laced slightly different. These are no different. The ribbon on the inside is a give away. they are different from right to left thus needing different lock down pressure. So the mid foot on one shoe is tighter. It's all a bit gimmicky.

    First thing, he didn't fully close the show when he had them on, so how does he know if the lacing system worked. Which applies to even when he was pulling the release cord while they were in his hand. Try doing a proper review then giving an opinion.

      Chris Green guess I’ll consider doing the same too. Absolutely love the aesthetic of the shoe but the unlacing on my pair doesn’t seem to unlace as naturally as I feel they should. So basically the same as this pair in the vid

  • @Guttz_ShoTit

    I love my pair... actually bought 2 pairs. The lacing system is a bit more snug for those of us with wider feet but after playing ball in them they did give more room. I love everything about this shoe and finally fell like Jordan brand found their grove back in the looks department while still keeping extremely good performing abilities. I’m soooo glad I didn’t sleep on these and LOVE the fact that they sold out. Those hoping to get them on the sales rack definitely won’t be happing.......from the box to the look to the way they actually lock your feet down when it’s go time has me looking forward to the next colorway already... and they turn heads...
