Tens of thousands of people rallied Wednesday in Georgia against a controversial "foreign influence" bill, after parliament advanced the measure that Brussels has warned would harm Tbilisi's long-standing European aspirations.

We have a similar law here in the USA, it is in the best interest of Georgia to know which foreign countries (if any) are influencing the NGOs. Why are those NGO against, unless they have something to hide ?

Because the bills stated purpose and content are at odds. The people recognize it for what truly intends to do
