This was so well done on both sides: a professional journalist asking the right questions to have the right conversation and a highly accomplished young man extremely wise beyond his years. Massive fan of you both and can’t wait to see Kade compete at ONE.

Also....being that the buggy choke requires side control...it may be a while before we see one in MMA. Side control just isn't something used much at all these days...people usually just transition immediately to mount if they do find themselves in side control.

Great question by Luke on how to make Jiu Jitsu popular. I think to Kade's point promotions need to only sign aggressive, exciting grapplers, and financially incentivise exciting matches and finishes. Continuing to fine tune the rule set to discourage safe, boring strategies would be a good idea. You may have to break out the yellow card and fine competitors for stalling, etc..

When fighter's talk about money, I really find it annoying. I agree they should get paid and have 100% coverage on medical and dental. It's just so unprofessional and gives me a toxic vibe. Tell us about you and maybe people will relate to your life and become a fan.
