Good trick how you tip the net up on the casting platform to get the fish out. I’ll give it a go.

Steve, works well with this particular net. Bit more difficult if you have one of those nets that the fish get tangled in.

Thanks for the feedback. The reel is not an expensive one - Okuma ceymar c-25. Has never caused a problem. Typically loaded with 6lb braid and 8lb mono.

@@bobrobinson8544 Nothing wrong with the Okuma's, great reels. I'm running Shimano Stradic 1000's with 6lb braid but a 4lb leader. Not as strong but plenty of fun on light tackle. Enjoy!
