I know someone that has a Samsung Galaxy fold 3, she has had it for a couple of years, and the hinge and fold is still looking brand new.
Do not buy any foldable or flip. It is perfect phone but material so bad and samsung will not cover. Even if it even broken in the foldable part. I had z fold 4 and they blame me for screen. Now wasted 1500$ and applied for legal processes. + wasting time and stress does not worth it

It has a new underlayer to help with that, and ashesive for the screen peotector. But i think it was the same for the fold 4.
