Hi mate I ve got a 2006 pageant champagne have you ever used butyl tape to seal over front and back roof joints, just planning on going over the top of the joint And have you ever had one leak on the side panel seams? Great content on your channel thanks so much John
Hey, just found your videos, they are great and very informative. As a Bailey caravan (2013) owner, really interesting. Just had ours serviced and fell upon the bailey axle problem...... ouch is all I'm going to say 😡. In your experience, what sort of vans have fewer problems? I am fully aware that they all have some problems. I'm hearing that adria and hobby may be a good buy? Keep up the great videos Karen
Hi there thanks for your comments. Yeah most makes will have similar problems. Adria and Hobby or other German vans have some better build quality but can still get damp and other failures. All ceravans I think use the same alko Axles now so failure could have been on any. There is a company who recondition the Axles cheaper than replacing them BTW. :)
Hi Johnathan, Love your videos. And you have taught me well so far. I am in New Zealand and just started importing caravans from the U.K. I am currently fixing a 2008 Bailey Ranger with a leaking back end. Can you please tell me the plastic crack repair produces you used on back cowling. Keep up the excellent videos. And Happy New Year to you and your family.
Hi Jonathan wonder if you could give me some advice. ....I had a slight leak from the site window seal which I've reasealed and hopefully solved the problem, but my niggle is there is a water leak stain on the inside below the window .the board feels still ok but wondered if there's ways to remove the staining or what would you suggest?....cheers steve
wish there was a price tracker like for tvs to see how much caravans were pre lockdown. Currently looking at a Elddis 530 2014 , for £14k , from the video it sounds like this about £2k over the price it would have been . PS , your videos are great
Great site and business Jonathan. Good luck. Love your videos
