Hypertherm has a gouging tip called Hyaccess. It turns the torch handle into a narrow long tip like a gas torch. I’m surprised it’s not cloned yet for the imports. I’ve always wanted to try it. The main difference it seems from pictures between the cutting nozzle and drag nozzle seems to be the taper. Is it possible to convert the cutting nozzle into the drag nozzle on a lathe? Or are there more subtleties than meets the eye?
I actually seen long cutting consumables for the itp 60 torch, there not as long as the hypertherm one tho. at first I didn't think I needed them but I actually ran into a job just the other day where those would have been handy I would imagine the standard nozzles could be modified, would be cool to try that
