I had figured the legacy sabers couldn't be opened or worked on like Savi's. But it's good to know for sure. And I remember the Temple Guards from the last arc in Clone Wars. But your sassy sidekicks made this even more entertaining.
I'd love to see a review on the Kylo Ren legacy lightsaber if you ever pick up that one! I think with the side blades and the different sounds his makes and the flickering effect that would be a really interesting one to check out to see how they do all those things. The rest of them I think are all probably going to be very similar and not as unique and worth doing a video on.
Instead of worrying about carry ons for lightsabers, just UPS/Fedex them home. When I buy mine, I plan on shipping my blades home. I'll keep the hilts on my carry on. Same with my droid.

Dude for 109 dollars this is a freaking bargain. The fact that you even get a case to begin with is amazing, regardless of the quality of said case. The freaking black series replicas run about 150 and they suck compared to the galaxy's edge sabers. Any lightsaber enthusiast that collects them like I do and spends sometimes 500+ on rare beauties will tell you, you seriously got a bargain. I can't wait to go some day. I collect hilts too. It's not easy since I'm in Canada and I can get hit with pretty hard custom taxes when I order a hilt. I have a Neopixel Starkiller hilt and a DV6 RGB hilt. All my other hilts are display props without electronics. I have a graflex, MPP and Roman Prop MKIII. An hour ago I won an Ebay auction for a Luke Ep6 hilt from Galaxy's edge. 188$USD and free shipping from a Canadian seller so no taxes. Luke's hilt was the one I was missing to complete my original trilogy set. If I had ordered one of the hilt kits for electronic installs it would have cost me 250$USD + shipping + custom taxes. For less than 200$ I just got myself the hilt I wanted and it comes in a sweet box. If they sold the legacy hilts on Amazon and they had blade plugs I would buy every single one of them even if it was to use a display props only. I think Disney's blades are shit compared to actual Neopixel. And that clash delay is unbearable.
Get the Ashoka Lightsabers please! If I can afford it when I go in two or three years I want to create my own saber as well as buy Ashoka's and Kylo Ren's lightsabers.

The box is one of the reason I just bough a Luke hilt from Ebay. Managed to win an auction with a pretty sweet deal. No one else bid and I got it for 188$USD. Buying it from the park cost 140$ after taxes. Not bad at all considering I saw a whole bunch of them listed for 300-400$. lol
Hey man! So the Savi sabers blade shouldn't really be very wobbly, they are quite solid in my experience, so I'd potentially take your saber with you to see if you either have a defective blade or hilt
Ashoka's are the most expensive but you get 2 hilts. You already have blades so 200$ and you have a whole new set. Compare to having to buy 2 Maul hilts to make the staff that ends up being more expensive at 130$ each. I'm curious to know if the clash is easier to trigger if you hit the hilt instead of the blade. Since those blades are a bit wobbly maybe they absorb the impact.
I'm not sure, but I think they regularly restock the Legacy Lightsabers. They may sell out for the day because they allocate the stocks, but the Legacy Lightsabers will be sold at the park for years to come. The only problem is when you go to Galaxy's Edge, they may be out of a particular lightsaber that you're looking for. But they will surely restock each of them.
Thanks for showing how to remove the battery pack, I was trying to twist out like a Savi's saber! It was kind of stuck and I had to pull outward fairly hard, no twisting.
Have you compared all your savi built sabers? Are they all wobbly? Might be a defect where the blade sits. My custom built saber is nice and solid. No wobble at all.

I bought the Rey Lightsaber when I was at Disneyland on the 9th of May. I love the ultra shiny chrome. Has some good weight, and very reactive time on striking. Cant wait till i go in October and do the Savi's gig. Might just pick up the Darth Maul setup to make his staff. If i do, maybe I can review it for you?
seeing how the jedi guards used lightsaber pike I don't see why the Darth Maul dapter wouldn't work. I mean a pike and a double blade lightsaber basicly uses the same principle to get longer.
How long are the blades of both savi’s and temple guard lightsaber? I don’t know why they look shorter than the usual fx lightsaber. Also, can you change the blade of the temple guard hilt to make it..let’s say blue?
That saber is sweet. Personally I'm way more interested in the Legacy sabers than the Savi's workshop ones. But If I ever get a chance to visit Batuu, I'll more than likely get both.

Loth cat for sure now that I have seen yours. I don't think im going to do the build your own saber though. The more I see about them the less good I feel about them. From looking at the bottom of your saber I dont think the maul adapter would work. Your bottom cap is to tall making the battery pack stick out. I also think you would end up with a male to male thread connector on either side.

Different pommels = altered sound due too the venting, material etc. So same sound but specifics of design are the cause of you varied pitch.

I doubt they will do Yoda's hilt. It's so much smaller compared to others that it would be very hard to use the same blades and fit batteries inside.

Sonymnms 52 it’s the same system as the legacy saber and I’m asking in relation to that which he says is more secure.
They have the wiggle so when you hit them or duel they absorb the hit better. It keeps it from going to the hilt and destroying the internals

Question on blade looseness. The same in both custom compared to legacy. Seems the lock mechanism should be same interesting not as tight.
