Thinking about Michonne's experiences before she met people like Andrea or Carl to bring her out of her shell is honestly so depressing. It's a wonder she made it being as lonely as she was. Ugh, I swear I love her more and more every time she's on screen.
I love that this gives us Michonne's backstory in one scene without too much exposition. You see the mental state of the two men degrade while Michonne tries to keep up the illusion until reality bleeds into her dream, causing her to wake up. I actually dig this scene and when she talks about her past, get to see a glimpse of what she has lost.
Damn they did a great job of reiterating that nightmare feeling onto the screen. How things are just subtly off but you don't notice and there's a quiet tension that builds up toward the end. Freaky scene

Love that part too. Watching it for the first time, you sit there wondering why they quickly go from joking and laughing to such troubled, unsettling expressions for seemingly no reason. Until their clothes change and their conversation shifts from soft to survival. It's so creative.

The Savior I think they really take documentation about dreams to do this. If I think on nightmares I had (I use a notebook to renember) all of them starts normal,but usually someone appears from nowhere and I act like nothing happened but not because I dont want to,its because I dont notice of that (just like Michonne and the sword) then rare things start happening like random phrases or something where I dont leaved it,and at the end all gets very creepy and I act like nothing,but in a moment something happend,something horrifiying what makes me wake up (I just looked in my notebook and I can see that i writed about a nightmare about someones shooting me and then I fall to the floor,in that moment I just waked up and I was falling...) Sorry,I writed a lot xD,the point is what this fcking scene is awesome!

I wish they could create a miniseries or a few episodes of backstory detailing how she got the sword, became good with it. It could also show the "group" she was with before and also show how she changes. I would love to see that.

I thought it was going to be a one time thing but now I have reached the point of this clip. Never was into zombie stuff but this show is/was written so well. Feel bad it took this long but grateful I did listen to her and now I want to get to the end. I was thinking I missed something due to not knowing the back story of her pet walkers. I got that maybe they were family members or people she knew just not the story of how she came to be and why.
