This was so heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. They're so in love in such a fucked up world, where people in relationships die so easily. And Rick is being so strong for her by saying, "I could lose you", of course he doesn't mean it, but he's doing it for her. He just wasn't used to seeing Mich like that, so freaked out by the prospect that she could possibly lose him. He sees her as such a strong woman and I think it kills him to see her so distressed over him. They're perfect for each other, they balance one another out so well. Where one is weak, the other is strong and they raise each other up. Just perfect.

I thought so too but it’s still good in season 11. I blazed through it in a few weeks this year and can’t wait for the Rick trilogy, their reunion and him meeting Rj.
Rick and Michonne do have a wonderful chemistry...and the world depicted in 'The Walking Dead' does need some love among the living...but the Rick and Michonne love story truly stands out...
It sucks because Michonne did end up losing him in Season 9 and had to carry on without him for so many years afterwards. However, we the audience knew that Rick survived, but it was still sad that Judith and RJ had to grow up without Rick during their childhood.

I teared up watching this. Michonne got so sad and scared during that moment, since she realized that she could lose Rick at any time, especially in this post-apocalyptic zombie world, but in the end, Rick reminded her that they needed to carry on no matter what for their children..

Very similar to Darabont's firing during season 2's production that ultimately led to early exits by Lori, Andrea and Dale. Sarah Wayne Callies went pretty in depth about their reaction to Darabont's firing on a podcast with Jon Bernthal. Basically said she was certain her opposition got her written out earlier than her comic counterpart.

Right. It interesting. It's like Glenn. Glenn led an ordinary life delivering pizzas and then the world went to shit and he became a hero. He became so much more. Rick was married with a family before the apocalypse. He loved his wife but it was clear they had marital problems before the world ended...and the apocalypse exacerbated the problem. For Rick to be so devoted to his family, to find love in such dire circumstance, and not just ordinary love, but like something that feels like it surpasses his previous relationship when considering how in sync they are, how well they communicate, how willing they are to accept the dark parts of each other...maybe the intensity of it is only heightened because of how fragile life is post apocalypse. It must be devastating to lose it.

Coming back and watching this after Ricks leave makes me almost start bawling again. I know they said that Andy won’t be returning except for in 3 TWD movies, but I cant help but hope they somehow reunite in the show. I miss Andy so much ugh
The only problem I saw with this is that Alexandria has a natural source of water so what they needed was to use that resource to GROW CROPS because what they really need (still) is a FOOD source. The resources that were there when Deanna and those found the place was 'drying up' and they should have been concentrating of expanding the Wall to include 'Planting' space.
If i was Michonne i don't think i could lose Rick. I just couldn't, not just because it would be painful it would hurt like hell. I would be just to tired, if he goes it wouldn't be long before i follow him. I would stick around for a little bit just to get things ok again but there isn't anywhere he would go i won't follow.
