Because they would much more notice the Drummer being bad than a world-class ridiculously tasteful drummer like Carter! 😂 Non musicians aren’t suppose to think about it too much they’re just supposed to enjoy it. And I’m sure there’s a lot of people in the crowd that can feel the fire. He’s just so damn good he’s got like a Purdie meets Garibaldi thing happening and a whole lot of Idris and Blue Note going on. Carter is the man!

Masterclass in dynamics and getting every ounce of sound variety out of each drum, cymbal, etc... loved the interplay between you and Damon too. Everyone was simply fantastic. (side note: I thought this was IN Finland until I read the notes) lol

Great players altogether, great feel and touch all the way around. Love playing these types of gigs myself. Thanks for sharing this and everything else you bring!

what I've discovered with cymbals is you grow into them. So i think it's not so much the cymbal that important but how much you know it., how often you play..they can change over the time for the better.
