This is incredible and Seiko movement is very well respected piece of Japanese history in watchmaking. Might be a Rolex replica now, but that’s fun to do these as a hobby. I like to have a Seiko SSK003 GMT as one of my 1st automatic watches, but one day I like to have a few mods done to it like change the glass to sapphire and the bezel to have a rotating clicking so that it doesn’t just move. I like your submariner from a distance people will actually think that’s a Rolex!
Great job. But wish you’d shown more of the steps: what did you use to cut the unneeded feet off? And would like to see how you insert the bezel w/o damaging it. Finally, how to determine how much of the stem to remove?
To cut the excess stem, fully screw on the crown. insert the stem into the movement while its in the case. press the stem as far in as it will go and use a vernier caliper to measure the gap between the cron and the edge of the case where it sits.
@@donkeytime1704 Used to be 100m. This guy does a great job modding and I am sure his mods can go deeper. I suspect that is the most pressure his device can muster which is good enough for everyone.

Nice build! I think it's pronounced "say-ko" by the way, not that it super matters! I'm thinking of doing almost the same build but with the new NH34 movement... so classy
I own one just like this with the oyster bracelet. Great watch. It’s very accurate. The Seiko NH35A movement is way more accurate than expected.
I agree I just recently started working with the NH35 , I’m very impressed with its accuracy 👍🏼

Usually the feet are very fragile and will come off with a few twists with pliers. Then you can shave down the excess.
How do you shave down the excess? Sandpaper?
@@coolz2334 Yes you can use sandpaper
Very clean, were do you get the parts for the mod?

The glider lock clasp is actually designed for diving so you can easily adjust your watch with your wetsuit on. #FanFuct
Would love to see you build seiko spb147j1
How do you decide the movement?
Can it be used for diving? How many bars can it stand?
Will these parts fit a seiko 6309 movement?
Do you need the gasket?
Hi, do you have any problem to install the springbar
where'd you get the dial?
Yes I would like to know this as well, also hows the lume on it?
what size (mm) was your dial?
What bracelt is that? Im having trouble figuring out which bracelt to order for the same build.
Love the passion you show on the videos. Is the watch water resistant and to what depth?
Thank you & Yes tested up to 50 meters!

Thank you!
To what extreme have you ever tested one?

Does the jubilee version come with a glide lock clasp?
It can upon request!
Only issue with the seiko movement that the date is bigger than the actual rolex date wheel
That means it's doper & rolex buyers are morons. ( Im a moron because I own a legit white gold Rolex , i regret buying it )
How much? Where to buy?

Good job. Are you able to make a Rolex dial in a seiko watch? I also interested in a quartz movement. Thanks!

Is t hard to self teach yourself how to do this as I’m. To the naturalis mod
Frustrating that all the details I wanted to see are cut out like they were being censored for being forbidden knowledge. 🫤
I guess you found what you needed by now, but if not, let me know and I'll try to help you. (I mod watches as well)
