I have a friend who's obssessed with dualclassing cleric/druid: He first wanted to make a war/spores build but couldn't figure out how that would work as a character, so he settled on peace/wildfire. Teleporting and buffing the party.

War domain and spores druid does work but it's a little clunky in the order of operations. Once you get it setup it is very strong.

“Sees the battlefield differently” is the running theme of my Peace domain character.

I dont know who you are, but this is by far the best peace cleric video I've found. The way you give descriptions is wonderful sir. You just got a new sub 😊
I'll be playing a water genasi peace cleric of eldath in an upcoming campaign who just wants to go fishing and this just gave me some cool ideas for fun rp aspects about being mostly a pacifist but still being a useful member of the group

Thanks! I really think the peace cleric may be the most powerful sub class in Tasha’s.

FYI harness divine power uses channel divinity which comes back on a short rest, if party is going to shortrest for hit die or Warlock/Monk in party then you can spend your channel to regain spell slots and then get the channel back after resting. Acts like a pseudo Arcane Recovery.

If you can bring yourself to Animate Dead as a Peace Domain cleric (and/or have another summoner in the party), you can also heal your undead with Balm of Peace (and later can keep your summoned Celestial topped off with hitpoints as well). The synergy between Beacon of Hope (max healing) and Balm of Peace (heal everyone 2d6+wis) is great.

I’m running a Eloquence Bard/Peace Cleric and it’s awesome. We have one other support, a Mountain Land Druid and we keep everyone up and ready to fight. It’s awesome.

I actually had an idea for a Hobgoblin Cleric of Peace. Combining the bond, bless, and Saving Face could potentially turn a bad roll into a success.

      That’s a great combo!

I'll be playing this concept in an upcoming game next week. Hobgoblin Cleric of Bargrivyek with the Peace Domain rebranded as Unity.

Warding Bond does get slept on a lot, but there’s a lot of little things about this build that just bring it up to top tier for what you’re doing. The target has resistance to the damage they take, resistance rounds damage down, so instead of 11 damage, you take 5. Then I take 5, not bad, but then say the Barbarian does the protective bond feature and takes my 5, well I didn’t have resistance to that, but they do, so they drop it to 2. Instead of 11 damage, we’re talking 7 now. Same goes for once you get the resistance part of the bond if you don’t have a barbarian. Then you have the +1 AC, make it just a little harder to hit you and your friend, and remember that Sanctuary is a bonus action and isn’t a concentration spell, so you could have your breastplate and a shield, or even half plate and a shield, sit pretty at up to 19 AC, Warding Bond to get to 20, then throw on Sanctuary, suddenly enemies have to save just to target you, never mind hit you, then even if they do theoretically hit you, reduce that damage, and theoretically have an ally take it anyway. Essentially one party member becomes relatively invincible, or the whole party is significantly buffer. Then you’ve got spells like Aid, worth it for a 2nd level spell? Not always, but in this specific instance, it’s 15 more MAX HP, which you can carry around however you like, throw it up long before battle, no concentration, it’s just there making things easier. You can also pick up Prayer of Healing at level 3, 2d8+wis mod to 6 creatures! Not just one like Cure Wounds, but it isn’t able to be cast in combat, so it’s really useful for just picking back up that health that your party spread around. You don’t even need to attack with this build, you can just sit there and watch the show, but say you feel like it, spiritual weapon and guiding bolt, hand your allies advantage+2d4 on attacks easy

Sleep is thematically perfect. I would have a hard time passing up Find Familiar, though. You could cast touch spells through it, which provides even more versatility and movement. 🦉

I made a loxodon peace cleric who is a war medic and has sworn to do no harm, so no attacks, and no damage spells! been interesting to play so far, but only 3rd level at the moment. Warding bond worked really well along with Interception fighting style which I took as a feat at level 1 (thanks to the DM).

I am very curious to see warding bond in play. I feel Peace Domain cleric may be one of the most powerful sub classes right now. It is definitely flying under the radar. I may do an update video on the subclass once I see it at the table.

Would it be a good choice to drop bless and cast beacon of hope if your party members are getting smashed?
My logic is that when you use the channel divinity to run around and heal your friends, they are getting an auto 12+ wis hp back, rather than rolling the 2d6.
    Is that viable?

Just a random note on your mic, the Blue Yeti is a side address mic, not one you speak into the top of so keep it more upright and speak into the side of it.
