Between Spencer who is actually a dad and Dan, Dan gives off the most Dad Vibes.
Dan reminds me of Ben from SimplyNailogical, (not only are they both number nerds who make fun of Internet culture) but they both do not have/want kids but they give out Peak Dad Energy.

The 1917 section of the trailer was the best. That run on sentence and "Uncut Gem" were amazing.

The thumbnail was misleading, Spencer wasn't wearing a suit and now we know that there won't be fancy dressing for the movie fight either 😢
In 1917, there are two actors from GOT, two actors from Sherlock, and two actors from Kingsman.
Harry/Merlin & Sherlock/Moriarty actually have a meaningful relationship compared to Tommen/Robb

I wasn't mad that you spoiled the shoe scene in Jojo, I was sad because I had to relive that sadness watching an honest trailer.
it was such a gut punch when I saw it in the cinema. I was all "they seriously went there!". I mean I've heard it has some dark parts in it but I still didn't expect it.
Scarlet got a nomination so I thought she'd be giving an awesome performance for the whole movie so that was super hard to watch

I’m so surprised JoJo Rabbit isn’t more of a favorite to win Best Picture.
Because this year is stacked with heavyweights and goofy comedies don't typically fare well at the oscars, even if this one has a real message. A screenplay win would already be a huge achievement.
Finally seeing it tomorrow can’t wait ( my theater doesn’t play these types of movies unless its nominated for best picture)

I mean these are 9 movies which almost all came out in last 2 months, it's perfectly reasonable that ALL people haven't seen ALL of them? I mean cmon Danielle...
And to add to this, Oscars are basically advertisement show, so it's kind of expected most people would go watch the movies after seeing them nominated/after they win...
I admit, Green Book shouldn't have won, but I liked it alright. Mahershala Ali's win was the only part i was okay with.
I haven't really heard anyone say it's a bad movie per se, I think people are just tired of the "good racist" trope. And by people I mean black people.
To be fair, it wasn't even the worst nominee last year. Some of its competition included _Bohemian Rhapsody_ and _Vice._
Mikaela Israelsson that’s true black people are the most tired of that trope since majority of films taking place in times where we were marginalized, Hollywood films loving diminishing and sugarcoating the reality of these trouble eras, and I also feel green book being the most safe film that focused on race win best picture over more challenging and game changing racialized films (Roma, black panther, BlacKkKlansman, the hate u give, it Beale streets can talk) was another problematic error to the bad reputation it has gotten
Malcolm 1097 I feel u. It’s kind of embarassing how stuck in their ways the academy is, even though they like to pretend to be progressive... People accused Spike Lee of being petty when he said they made a bad call, but I felt the exact same way, so did a lot of people.

Fun fact: Ever since Honest Trailers started in 2012, no movie that was nominated for Best Picture and got a full Honest Trailer has ever won the top prize. So that mean's Joker *definitely* isn't going to win...right?
EDIT: Holy crap, they actually acknowledged that at 2:04?! Thank you for bringing this up! Now, if only one of you would bring up the hypocrisy of not giving Avengers: Endgame multiple awards for its conclusion after doing the same for Game of Thrones.

Besides being awarded by different organizations, the Oscars already rewarded Return of the King for its entire trilogy.

I find it rude, offensive and unprofessional that Danielle goes to work stoned out of her mind and none of the guys say anything.

Dan, if you see that shot and hear that line from the Honest Trailer, then attempt to watch the film.
You will have been spoiled about what’s going to happen to the character.
So yes, it is the trailers fault, not the commenters.
Why on earth would you watch any parody trailer, review, or discussion before watching the actual movie if you are afraid of spoilers?

I agree with some people here, I like Danielle and I'm sure she's a great writer for honest trailer, but I'm starting to skip the episodes she hosts..which makes me sad for the work put into them. It's just a lot of interruptions and random personal references or jokes that bring a weird flow to the conversation.
I thought it was just me. I’ve been skipping them too. Especially if she’s hosting. Not to mention the out wokeing everyone constantly.

Regarding spoilers: I don’t ever want to hear Dan whine about a trailer showing the final scene of the movie again after y’all ganged up on folks complaining you spoiled things. Like, you wouldn’t know the last scene of Venom was the end until you saw it either.
A real trailer spoiling a movie before it comes out is different than a parody trailer spoiling a movie after it comes out. It is no different than any other parody, review, or discussion. Do not watch it until after you see the movie if you don't want any spoilers.

I have a playlist for videos related to movies that I want to watch but can not until after I see the movie. My problem is not that the movies are not playing near me, most are, but that I can not afford to go to the theatre.
