    I love us so much 😂. The look on y’all’s faces during the food reviews took me OUT.
    No faking for the camera… just dammit, this food needs some seasoning! THESE are the reviews we need! 😂

      @@theservicesage I booked a return trip while at the wack IASS lounge at HNL. For best first class value to Hawaii, Alaskan airlines is an amazing value. For the best first class experience it's Hawaiian airlines hands down, but there is a huge gap in price between the two carriers.

      @@theservicesage not to mention our bags weren't weighed at check in, we didn't have to wait to check in while the line for coach check-ins were what seemed miles long for both carriers. I don't think I can go back to flying coach.

    I wish Hawaiian Airlines would come back to Alaska. They used to fly direct from Anchorage to Honolulu but they stopped a few years ago. I much preferred their widebody aircraft to the Alaska Airlines narrow body 737. Plus Alaska's "First Class" doesn't even compare.

    Thank you for sharing your vacation trip here. Flying from Cincinnati/North Kentucy - CVG to Chicago - ORD is a short flight. Flying on the 777s and with being in First Class is nice as well but i take it you did not make the early direct first flight to Oahu, Hawaii. So, you flew on the one stop to Denver to continue on to Oahu, the second island that has the capital city, Honolulu. I hope you got some sleep on the night before to have these connections.

    • @LMays-cu2hp
      @LMays-cu2hp 11 месяцев назад +2

      You made a comment about when leaving Denver that you and your wife went on Hawaiian Airlines at timing 1:09 on your video here? Why would you two transfer over to Hawaiian Airlines when United has always been flying to Hawaii of the 4 islands since the 1980s by wide body aircraft? Did you two miss the Denver flight connection on United to Honolulu? Also, did you and your wife add these trip miles to you United Mileage Plus account as well? And if you two flew on Hawaiian Airlines, well, Hawaiian is not apart of the Mileage Plus Program nor is that apart of the American Airlines One World Program either. Hawaiian Airlines is only partner code share with Jet Blue. And jet Blue has been flying to Honolulu or Kona out of Los Angeles in general.

      Thank you so much for enjoying it! Love hearing you all feedback, and we didn’t get on Hawaiian airlines we stayed on united. That was my mistake 🤦🏽‍♂️ and yes we got a lot of sleep the night before! But Honestly we were so excited that it didn’t matter anyway. Lol

      @@theservicesage Ok, yes, that was good you stay on United Airlines. Yes, with you two coming from Cincinnati, yes, there is no direct market to Hawaii so, yes stop or making a one stop or a two stop is needed for you two. Well, I live here in Chicago so, I have taken the direct flights to the Big Island Kona, Hawaii a few times. I have also flown to Oahu Island for Honolulu there in Waikiki Beach area and I have been to Lihue, Kauai there as well. it is nice being in paradise!

      @@WilliamMurphy-uv9pm Thank you for sharing your nice. I hope you have many more great trips. One of things that I have always experienced are the local Hawaiian people, not people that have recently moved there over the last years few years but people who are from generations of families that have lived there all of their life. Also, people from local grocery stores and other local restaurants always let me know from those many conversations of how the local feel and in their thoughts of history about how the chain of islands are looked at from their perspective. I have always heard from the locals tell me that the Big Island is largest island in land mass and then Maui the second largest and then Oahu is the third largest finally Kaui the fourth largest again in land mass island out of the first 8 islands of that whole chain of those Hawaiian Island in the Pacific Ocean. I have also had hotel staff workers in the pasted and currently froom coworkers that still fly there how the locals feels about all the mainland people and tourist people coming there to the most populated island which has been and still is Oahu. I have also heard the locals that locals people have been moving away from Oahu to the mainland because the cost of housing and everything is so more expensive!!

    United airlines discontinued first class in 2018 only have business class

    • @theservicesage
      @theservicesage  9 месяцев назад

      Correct! United business class was available on flights between the U.S. and Latin America or the Caribbean, as well as some U.S. transcontinental flights. And United first class was available only only few flights within the U.S. and Canada only for certain flights. But by 2026 those suppose to done with first class all together except for Boeing. I went in 2021 so they probably have narrowed down first class even more.
