"Practice doesn't make perfect, practice makes permanent" wow! Opened my eyes (ears?). You're an absolutely amazing teacher! In every aspect I could possibly think of really. Thank you for this channel!
Hallelujah is literally one of my favorite songs to sing and didn't even realize not a lot of people can sing that song the way Buckley did. It's always been a favorite of mine and having done choir and everything in elementary and then on I guess that helped. Although that long 20 second high note towards the end is very very challenging especially at the end of the note when he goes back to singing a shorter version of that high note.
I am just trying to improve my shower voice since I have to listen to it haha! But seriously, though I am not a great singer, I can carry an ok tune that is good enough for me to hear myself 🙂 Having said all that, this was an incredibly helpful lesson! I can actually sing this song now without cringing at myself! Really enjoy your lessons! You are a great teacher!
My favorite version of this song is by Pentatonix, but they have so many copyrights that people have a hard time just reaching to it lol. Thank you for this video, because I can never sing it right lol.
Thank you. I love this song and have been using the Jeff Buckley version to strengthen my lower notes. I know it's not a song that's meant to be sung with my voice, at all, but it's still great to sing to help those (evil) low notes.
What a wonderful video! I am a new sub so I am just learning about how you teach. What an amazing voice you have! I think videos like this one, combining technique with songs everyone knows, goes a long way to help improve singing effort. I hope you will offer more of this in the future. Thank you so much.
As a baritone, I'm curious about how to sing the parts where Jeff sings "hallelujah" and drags out the last one in that verse. Can you provide guidance on this?
Please react to Katrina Velarde and Jessica Villarubin "I Surrender" cover.. there's so much emotion, passion and power.. This was also the comeback for Katrina after a very painful situation she had.. pls. do react to this 🙏😊

I'm here, because I want to learn English. So I'm going to try to learn and sing at the same time.
I’m definitely going to get the 150 Vocal Songs for Basses, Baritones, and Tenors. It would help me a lot in my singing career.
Hey.. your singing tutorials are really good!!
Many thanks!
Awesome job!
Thank you very much ❤ Learning this song now👍🏻🎸
Singing this at my parents wedding, wish me luck

I’m a high tenor. The E4 is no problem for me.
This was really helpful. Thanks a million. Where can I get the write up on the SMART system for this song?
