As someone who buys these sets just cause the builds are detailed and cool ( I don’t really care about minifigs that much 😭) I wish there was a bit more to it for the price, having the mech stand in the middle does make it look a bit better for display and I’ll probably get it just cause I have gardens and markets lol
6:37 Zane’s bedroom, or whatever it is, actually has a mini version of the Ice Tank from the movie, I think. The little roller skate with a double slope on it.
For my dislikes with this set are the big mech, no Mr Frohicky, small Dorama's puppet and no leg printing for Harumi, Dr LaRow, Dorama and Twitchy Tim, but its just my opinion.
I bet that restaurant owner minifigure was originally going to be Mr Frohicky, but then late production they changed it. That’s probably why this minifigure uses the torso and legs that appears in many modular sets nowadays.
Its a pretty good set What Lego should have done instead is a set of the Crossroads that fits into the Ninjago City series of sets. Casual Harumi is an amazing minifigure to finally get! I wish we got more minifigures we wanted more (like Ninjago City Gardens). Ninjago City Gardens was an amazing corner Ninjago City set that works well by itself, this set is not that at all.
The mini figure selection is not good, and I’m saying that as a ninjago fan. 4 out of 10 figures are civilians, 2 are old figures and then the exclusive figures have no new molds or anything. And only 10 figures for $250? That should be about 12-15 and only 4 of the legs have printing and they aren’t even exclusive. I don’t think I’m going to get this one
This reminds me a bit of the X-Mansion, where from the official images it looks quite small. It's an issue that's plaguing so many large lego sets nowadays, and while they often look bigger in person, I still think they should try and improve that
Evrytime you make a post, “officially revealed…” I get a mini heart attack… lol Waiting for you to hopefully post “Beauty and the beast officially revealed!” My all time favorite movie and been wanting that lego castle to go along my othet lego Disney castles.
I am curious if we are gonna get another one next year for the 15th anniversary. I know they skip a year but maybe they will do it to make up for a small one this year, bigger one next year type thing
this seems to be a ninjago city set that's more focused on play than the others, which i find interesting, but not worth the sacrifice in minifigures. also, twitchy tim was not my guess for the next character to get a titan mech, but hey it's fun, and getting more vehicles for side characters is an idea that i like.

The civilian figures are really bad, they use the same minifigure parts of cheap lego city sets, and the worst part is that they have nothing particular that recalls ninjago like the minifigures of the previous modulars. Dorama uses a different color tone than the show, for the ninja there is only Zane and there aren't amazing construction techniques like the other modulars. It's a shame, a lot of wasted potential.

I've been waiting since the markets (which at the time, I even, thought was bare) for the new ninjago modular, and I've got to say, this is the most disappointed I've EVER been for a lego set and makes even the markets look full. This is bare and this is garbage, definitely a huge disappointment. Ahh well another 2 year wait I guess.
No thank god it's not just me, the whole set looks so bare bones outside of the top floor, the side towers look so small and the middle so empty without the giant mech which looks like its blocking everything when it's there, I really hope the next one is better since this will definitely be a skip for me
This is the barest and ugliest set ever and might signal the fall of the whole theme. Next one will be bigger but even more bare and uglier, too. Should be priced at 94 USD.

Right under that is a hanging lamp that uses the relatively new stem piece in black, it's been used as supports in building before, but never on its side. What about the fact that the garage door is curved? Not only does it make it look much more unique compared to the normal flat doors, but using the mini banana gears is absurdly creative. Or what about the much cleaner way of angling the railing pieces against the stairs, or catapults being used as a roof (something I've been thinking of as a possibility for years now), OR CHAIRS BEING USED AS A ROOF!
I saw the chairs, don’t really like that. I haven’t looked super closely at the set. I was just mentioning what popped out. Again, I’m sure when I build it this week there will be more.

Ngl, probably the worst Ninjago City set imo, build doesn't look that interesting and they wasted too much pieces on a mech and a big brick build figure that no one asking for in the first place. As for the figure selection, it's probably the worst since Dock, Dock at least have the build to back it up, like I get I'm buying lego for the build, but Ninjago main attraction always has been the figures, hard to make a sell on me even if they got civilian Harumi and Twitchy Tim if half of the figures are random civilians, 2 villains figure that could've been in the smaller sets, Zane and Pixal that already in another dragon rising set.
