    Thanks everyone!
    I had a lot of fun making this (and frustration) on my old laptop. Was only getting about 5fps by the end, so it is a little lacking in the spooky area at the back.
    I couldn't have done this without some of the blueprints from really talented creators, so thank you to them.
    Jonny! Thanks again so much for the spotlight and thank you to everyone who enjoyed this. The clowns are not mine. The side shows are not mine.

    Living in Queensland, Australia myself - the home of theme parks, I can see so many Australian elements from our parks here. Absolutely tremendous work, can see where a lot of the inspiration has come from.

    • @BrottenGuy
      @BrottenGuy 3 года назад

      Just curious…
      Why do you say that Australia is the “Home of Theme Parks”?
      Think we can stake that claim.
      First coaster was built in Paris.
      However, our (United States) first full amusement park outdates yours by nearly 20 years. And that’s IF Knotts Berry WAS truly the first one. There could’ve been more even older.
      Secondly, we have like…HUNDREDS!!!
      I have been to Kings Island (now owned by Cedar Fairs…who owns Cedar Point), Cedar Point, Kentucky Kingdon (these first three being my “Home Parks”), Six Flags Great America in New Jersey, Busch Gardens Williamsburg (Virginia), Busch Gateens Tampa, CaroWinds in North Carolina, Kings Dominion (Kings Island’s sister park & damn near CLONE, in Virginia), all of Disney World, Sea World, and both Orlando Universal parks (Studios & Islands of Adventure), Dollywood (Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, Tennessee) & OpeyLand (Nashville. Tennessee), & a few smaller parks around the Eastern part of the US.
      And this barely scratches the SURFACE! Sooooo many more parks. Obviously Disneyland & Universal our in California, Six Flags has NUMEROUS parks, aforementioned Knotts Berry, Hershey Park in Hershey, PA, and many many more. These are some of the most FAMOUS ones I can come up with off the top of my head.
      Just to say it….I’m not even sure Australia has as many parks as I have even BEEN to MYSELF, and all of mine are JUST in the Eastern Seaboard. Lol!
      Let me add THIS:
      Kings Island had THE first Standup Coaster of all-time in King Cobra. Kings Island also has possibly the most FAMOUS wooden coaster in the WORLD in the Beast. It is STILL the longest wooden coaster of all-time worldwide (may even be the longest period) at just around *5* MINUTES long!!
      Kings Island’s Son of Beast (now torn down bc it was rough as hell) WAS the tallest AND fastest wooden coaster in the world! AND…? THE. FIRST wooden coaster to have a loop or any inversion! I went on it 10 times, before it was taken out.
      Kings Island’s world famous Vortex (they JUST tore it down & I cried! Lol!) was THE first coaster in the WORLD to have SIX inversions allllll the way back in 1984!!! Many coasters TODAY STILL don’t even come CLOSE, to that!! I have ridden Vortex at LEAST 500 times. No joke. It is THE quintessential steel coaster…well…WAS. So sad they tore it down last year!!! It was replaced by a badass ride. But still!
      Kings Island has THE FIRST suspended coaster in the world, with The Bat. It had an accident, was broken down, fixed, & shipped to Cedar Point & is now Steel Dragon.
      Cedar Millennium Force was the tallest & tastes when it was first built….310 feet & uo to 93 mph (I believe..? I know it’s over 90). Then, they beat THEMSELVES, before anyone else did; with Top Thrill Dragster…0-120 mph launches & up 420 feet. It was the fastest & tallest till Kingda Ka (135 mph & 435 feet) was built in New Jersey’s Sid Flags. Check my list…I’ve been on BOTH. Dragtser about 35 times. Dragtser is still better bc Kingda Ka beats you up as bad as Son of Beast did. And the latter is now torn down BECAUSE of that. Lol!
      Back in 1989, Cedar Point set MORE records with Magnum XL-200. It was THE FIRST Hyper Coaster & THE FIRST coaster to ever go over 200 feet tall. It was basically the precursor to the later Millennium Force, & the Hyper Coaster was the precursor to the Giga Coaster.
      Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom’s didn’t used to be Six Flags. It was a park long before that, just as Kings Island was a park 40 years before Paramount bought it THEN cold it to Cedar Fairs. Kenrucky Kingdom was ORIGINALLY just the Kentucky State Fair’s little amusement park & rides. It was only open for two months our of the year, for that. Then, it just grew into its own thing. Ahyway…) their older Chang coaster set the record for the Tallest & Fastest Standup Coaster, and more inversion than any other Standup, with…yet again…SIX. Lol!!
      Let me ALSO add, Cedar Point is THE KING of rollercoasters. It is widely known as “The RollerCoaster Capitol of the World”. At one time (& it may still. I’ve lost count. But, they do generally replace a torn-down Coaster with another Coaster) it had/has SIXTEEN rollercoasters! No other park even comes CLOSE!!! Kings Island really isn’t too far behind since Cedat Fairs bought it, & as you can see….Kings Island is KNOWN for their coasters, as well, with all the records THEY set (5, at my count. Beast, Son of Beast, King Cobra, Vortex, & The Bat). If it wasn’t for these two Ohio Parks, a lot of parks across the globe wouldn’t have what they have. Just saying! Lol!
      And lastly….I’ll just say….we are the hime of Disney. I mean, everyone knows THAT. Lol!! DisneyWorld is MASSIVE!!! People really have no IDEA just how GIANT that place is till they see it for themselves! Disneyland was the fiest. DisneyWorld got the name “WORLD”, for a reason. They are the KING of Amusement Parks. They used to not be so RollerCoaster-centric like others. But, they have more now & so does Universal. But, Disney was the first to be an actual THEME Park. Others are/were ANUSEMENT Parks. Disney was the very first to put all this work into the visuals, the queues being so amazing, & all of that. Universal was second, to do it. Then, everyone else finally took notice & began doing it.
      Then, both have Universal right next to Disney’s parks, both in Cali & O-Town.
      So…..just had to get allllll of that out, to stake OUR claim.
      Therefore, I’m genuinely curious why you say AUSTRALIA is…?? Lol!

    • @BrottenGuy
      @BrottenGuy 3 года назад

      And not sure what ya mean, by the inspiration.
      “Beastie” was LITERALLY the kiddie coaster version of the Beast, at Kings Island. It was a real coaster in Ohio. Lol! I have yet to watch ALL of this. But, I can also see Kings Island & Cedar Point…two CLASSIC American Parks…in this park.
      By the way, I’m not bitching at you, making fun of you, knocking you, or being malicious or aggressive in ANY way! I promise & can assure yo I that is not my intent!
      I really am just curious, as to why you say these things, & had to give my reasons for why I believe the United States is the “Home of Amusement Parks”.

  • @foxycritter
    @foxycritter 3 года назад

    Wait...I think most, if not all of these, are IRL coaster clones! I definitely spied Full Throttle as Meteor, and Mr Freeze as HiJinx. Wildfire I think is Sierra Sidewinder from Knott's, and Hangtime is from Knott's Berry Farm too! And Jumpin Jellyfish is the same as it is at Disney's California Adventure!
    I think the Figure 8/Two coasters on top of each other is inspired by a powered coaster model, the Skywarp from Skyline attractions! (I've been on the Skywarp at Seaworld San Diego and it HURTS and constantly breaks down lol, so it was hilarious to have you give it "coaster of the year")
    Electric Eel is my home coaster, also from Seaworld SD! It's a Skyrocket II by Premier.
    Temple of Doom is from Disneyland Paris
    Raiders of the Lost Tomb I feel like is a layout/ride style copy of Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, but with an Indiana Jones/Mummy theme.
    It took me a while to realize all of this with how well everything in the first half is themed! I only caught on when the ride names and themes weren't changed/were barely changed from their IRL counterparts.

    i can see the australian influence straight away. the entrance looks exactly like the dreamworld entrance. Beastie coaster is a remake of the old junior wooden coaster also called beastie at the former theme park called Wonderland Sydney. The claw is a ride at dreamworld Australia. Star Trooper is extremely inspired by tower of terror another ride formerly at dreamworld Australia. meteor is also based off a former coaster at dreamworld. Yowie creek rampage very reminiscent of thunder river rapids (Dreamworld). Bush Beast is the older brother of the beastie (Wonderland Sydney). Wipeout and Tailspin (dreamworld). Luna Park entrance makes an appearance (North Sydney and Melbourne).

    The Beastie has got to be based on Coaster at Playland.

      There is a wooden coaster at Kings Island called the Beastie. Currently known as Woodstock Express, formerly known as the Fairly Oddcoaster. It's been through a lot of changes over the years.

    the only thing I would have added was a dark ride to haunted area. not being able to really go through that funhouse left a little to be desired. other than that this was wonderful

      Hey! I really wanted to, but my laptop was at its end, I couldn't continue to work on the park, which is why some things were not entirely finished like the queue got wild fire.
      Thanks for the compliment :)

    Question for the community: look around 3:56 and the pathing. How do you get different colored paths to connect like that? I really don’t know anything. I guess to add to that, how do you do those path designs?? Where we saw those swirling designs in the paths??

    The tumbleweed "coaster" is not actually a coaster. It is a recreation of a real world flat-ride type called Skywarp made by Skyline Attractions. There are currently two of them operating in the whole world. One is in Six Flags Discovery Kingdom and the other in SeaWorld San Diego. Amazing park nonetheless with exceptional realistic rides where some of them are actually a clone of real life rides.

    Please change the view when ridi g the coasters it very frustrating when trying to watch them looking forward yet the field of view keeps changing. And not to mention the fact it's frustrating seeing the coaster train Poppin in and out of frame. I like to look forward and you get a better understanding of how smooth the layout is. Just an observation and possible idea. Apart from that what a park. Living your videos

    How do you create path with tracks on them? Like on 10:06. That big square with every exit just laying on top of it, no loose paths.
