Thanks John - you're not going to get epic ones on this channel its only for short and sweet ones! Thanks for watching all the same though it is much appreciated! Hope all well!
Alexander, you have shown that that field is worth going back to, even if it has been detected over quite a few years. It would be really interesting to see the range and quantity of Roman coins found in that field over those years. The coins you found probably range over at least 150 years.
Great to see you finding things on a done to death Field. People always say it's been done like this church I detected the father said some people have done it a few times, I still managed 5 silvers. Great video very interesting all that pottery.👍✌️🇦🇺🦘
Hi Alex, I recently read that early Denarii were high purity silver. But eventually only 5 percent silver then later denarii were silver washed copper then copper. Successive Roman Emperors debased the coinage causing massive inflation and decreasing the value of the Denarius by maybe 15,000 times compared to the gold coins.👍🏻
Alexander, long wanted to ask - why you do not wear something more comfortable in fields, something, that don't mind getting dirty and offers many pockets, british army camo or similar ? yore so usually office-dandy look like. best regards, Andy )
Hi Andy - thing is I do find that very comfortable its what I normally wear! When i am fishing or shooting ( hunting) I dress a bit as i do get dirty and smelly and bloody but not when I metal detect!!!! I don't really see the point in dressing in hunting/ army clothes to go out with a spade and a detector!!!! Hope all well!
Congratulations! Nice coins!
Short & sweet Alexander but always welcome. Thanks for posting, best regards, John.

No problem, thanks for watching Tessy! Hope all well and All the Best, Alexander
What in the world went on in that field? A marketplace? A roman villa waiting to be discovered?
I think it must be a villa but it's a well-known Roman site round here and even though I can go on it now it's been done by other people for decades!
Watching from spain
Thanks John! Hope it’s a bit warmer there than it is here! All the best, Alexander
Short, concise, to the point!!! (unlike most of my comments 🤣🤣🤣🤣)
Ha!😊 hope all well with you Gil!

Well done Alan, that's very good to hear! part of me does think a field can be "done" but I consistently get proven wrong! Hope all well down there!
