Really interesting stuff Bruce! Often people travelling the Penticton to Kelowna corridor rarely find reason to make any stops along the way, so you visiting these places will hopefully encourage others to slow down and do a side trip every once in a while 👍

Do the Salmon die only because they've spawned or would they die at that time anyway?
Yes they die after spawning. All part of there life cycle. After the Kokanee spawn they turn green then die. B
