Really enjoyed this video. One of the rare ones I've seen that doesn't just list must-see attractions and move on, it actually gave me a feel for what these places are like, and the info is going to come in handy for my trip in September. Thank you!
🙏🏼 Thanks for this video. It was super useful for when we visited Japan I especially loved Shibuya - Such a busy vibrant place with so much to explore! 😍
I love Tokyo. My fav city in the world. I see a lot of videos made about things to do there, and most are average.... but yours was Fantastic! Great cross section of things to do and see, food choices and your commentary was awesome. Loved it, and will help many first time visitors to this epic city ❤
This was a great video full of things to do in and around Tokyo along with costs and whether reservations should be made or not. I am taking my 19 yr old daughter in July for the first time and your video gave me some great ideas of things we may want to do!
Every corner you turn you find something interesting…there will never be enough time to do it all! It can be overwhelming and I like to make a list of the basics/must see and also allow myself to discover new things while I’m in a certain area/neighborhood
Your Japan videos are so freaking good. I am going back for the second time this year and you helped me design my itinerary. Quick question; is Komachi street walking distance to the big Buddha or did you have to take a second train to get there?
oh that makes me so happy to hear!!! There is a train station right by at the start of Komachi street and from there is a short train ride and walk to the Buddha statue
You are so pretty. All the best. I would love to travel to all the places I want to visit and go out everyday to new places. It would mean the world to me and make me so happy to travel all the time. I am 26 years old and stuck in my parents house almost the whole day. I go to therapy twice a week, so depressing. I don’t want to live life like this. I just want to do what makes me happy and traveling all the time/going out everyday to new places will make me happy. I wish you a life full of peace, joy, and positivity. I hope you wish all the same for me ♥️
Tokyo has too much to offer and it will probably take years to see and do it all haha! I was there for 3 weeks (and its my second time) and it’s never enough!
Love you videos, great to watch it before we are heading to Japan next week, a lot of info. Thanks for sharing, just wondering what equipment are you filming?
Hey Krisha, thank you! I always bring my batter pack to charge my camera. On days when I’m using it a lot, I’ll charge it once. Otherwise, it can last all day if you are not filming tons of footage.
This was a great informational guide. I’m going in October and now know what attractions I’m interested in. I did wanna know why you chose Pasmo over the Suica card. Is one more convenient when using the train/subway or it’s just a personal preference?
No specific reason, it was the first one some to us on our first trip in 2019. Pasmo and Suica works the same so it doesn’t matter 🙃. Have fun in October!
Nice Guide! Thank you One question: how much money did you spend per person per day in average for Food? I calculated with 30€ for our upcoming Trip Is that realistic ?
30 euro/day is very doable! There are many affordable options and I found food, in general and in Tokyo to be less inexpensive than most people would expect.
Very informative video and love your vibes. I’m planning to visit and wanted to know how do you find your activities tickets? Is it Klook or other apps?
Thank you! For team labs I booked through their official website directly since Klook has less availability. For Puroland and Disney parks, it was easier to book on Klook.
How do you like the DJI Pocket Camera? If this was filmed on it, the quality is very good for the small camera omg ! I've been thinking about getting one.
@@eileensworld that's EXACTLY why i wanted it, it's not as intimidating in public to have, packs easily bc it is so small, and the quality is *chef kiss* thank youuuuu 🤍
People will see you using it in public will be curious about what the small device is, so you may still get some attention 🤣 To note, I had very good customer experience with DJI. I dropped it once (my fault), was ready to just pay for the repair, so I sent it in and they just replaced the entire thing.
@@eileensworld oh wow that's amazing! i've def decided to get it. it just makes sense! thank you for the info it's super helpful to hear how someone else loves it, I've heard nothing but good things from everyone who has it
Are there ways to check which otter cafes are humane? There's a growing case of otters being trafficked in Japan due to social media and tourism and kept in inhumane conditions.
I am not a animal welfare expert and can only share my experience. The otters were very playful and it looked like the employees there really care about them.
@@eileensworld Instead of saying you're not an expert maybe you should've researched how inhumane animal cafes are before you gave them your money and supported them. It doesn't take an expert to do that.
How easy is it to get the 100 Yen coins? I know the atm at places like Lawsons work for cash but how low of a denomination? Thanks for your Tokyo video. Planning to go next spring
Great video... I was in Tokyo a few months ago and noticed I was the only one wearing sun glasses also... Didnt see any sunglass shops or for sale in stores .. Does anyone know why its not common to wear sunglasses in japan?
You’re right! I haven’t thought much about that but now that you mention it 🤔 Sunglasses are definitely sold because I saw them in the department stores but maybe no one buys them 😜
Eileen, Greetings.. it’s my 1st time to travel to Tokyo Japan.. we’re staying at Otani Hotel..I think it’s near Shibuya Crossing..we’ll be staying in Tokyo for 4 days.. which is the way to see Mount Fuji? Do I have to ride the train or Bus..any significant places or sceneries you can suggest to see..am enjoying your jet setting..
Your first trip to Tokyo 🥹 I only saw Mt. Fuji from the train 😛 but my husband and MIL went on a day trip to Hakone to see Mt. Fuji. That will require a train ride and some bus trips once you get there. Unfortunately, it was cloudy the day they went so they didn’t get any good views of Mt. Fuji. My gf also went to Hakone and the feedback I got from both is that the bus rides are crowed, limited trips, and not very well organized. I would recommend you search day trip to Hakone or join a day trip tour group to Hakone from Tokyo. Safe travel!

Yes they are, like a normal restaurant
