Lovely film David and Matt. Enlightening and great to see how conciencsous Matt is about his work.
Another example of people having deep respect for the animals they control.

Been moling for years and still learnt things from this video !!😀 The bending of the trigger plate on a talpax is something that I shall do from now on, as well as changing the green string on my pétanques (wondered why I was losing so many !!!!😂😂). Also, will be moving to the supplier you mentioned !!! Happy moling !!!!!!

Excellent advice, thank you. I've got quite an infestation in the veg garden this year. I have added lot's of manure over the years and I've heard that it attracts them. I've also heard that banging on the ground can deter them but I'm not sure if it's right

Have never managed to catch a mole with a trap - some very useful tips here to try. Always find the moles dig around the traps. Have managed to dig a few live ones up and also flushing them out with water has worked. There seems to be a few which seem to be wise to what`s going on and are very alert when pushing soil and stay deep. Good to see someone catching in deep runs and not just below the surface. Very professional.

I tried the scissor traps that you step on but my moles dig to deep for them. I then got some of these batang traps and they worked great. I did add a foot long chain with key rings attaching to the trap and on the end. I was able to put the traps deep in the runs with the chain to pull them out. I put a marker in the hole of the chain on the surface. They took care of my problems fast. Great informative video thank you.

The trap line traps are my absolute favorite and are stainless steel and won’t rust. Out of allll the traps iv used they don’t compare to trapline traps.
