Maybe too much stagnant water? Try adding some charcoal into it too.
Try keeping it open for some hours- yes and stagnant water too
How does air enter the ecosystem ? Did you drill holes in a spot using a diamond bit dremel or does air neither flow in nor out ?
The terrariums are closed. But sometimes needs maintenance.

Once it is set up…moisture and light, it is practically maintenance-free

Do you have to water it? What is those plants outgrow it?
It’s watered every once in a while, they also use small plants that can withstand high humidity and that grows super slowly
