So proud of our African boys Simbine 🇿🇦 and Tebogo 🇧🇼 👏🏼👏🏼
I live in the UK but my family come from Jamaica 🇯🇲 as a black man I am very proud of Tebogo the first African born Black man to win and when I look at the line and I see people that look like me and I can point to my little ones and go look how strong and fist are people are ✊🏿
Big big respect to our boy Akani Simbine, wow brother we are proud of you. And lastly but not least big respect to the wonder kid from our neighbors Botswana Stebu. Big Respect
Don't forget about Benjamin Richardson since his also laso clocked a pb of 9.86
@@noble847altitude aided. Simbine still the best South African
@@noble847 I was not impressed with that time, but wish him lack. Another one that i beleive can reach the final is Shawn Maswanganyi only if he doesn't choke.
Our SA 4x100 team has a chance to medal if all stay healthy and the handovers go well.
Thank you for your support of your country men. Africa did it in 1908.
2024 is not too late ❤
That 9.81 into a headwind is a massive, MASSIVE statement. He already is in high 9.7s shape. I still don’t know if he takes it, but dude is cooking
@@cdt5559 Some people comment as if he is not still working in the background to improve his technique to run faster times. No way is he sitting in a corner waiting for Kishane to beat him at the Olympics. With his experience and determination, I have no doubt he can still come out on top.
@odt5559 with that start he never going to catch Oblique and Kishane you can fantasize about 9.7 all you want he is still running Oblique time..
@@tyeguy5373 He doesn’t have to. What Olympic or world medals does Oblique have? What did he do at the last Olympics?
@@tyeguy5373 Oblique never ran that fast 😂
@tyeguy5373 - Oblique hasn't even run a 9.7 himself, lol. Noah is consistently running mid to low 9.8s at this point.
When I watch Tebogo run it looks like he’s got more to give. So relaxed, so effortless. I’m calling it Paris Gold for Tebogo.
I agree
True...he is reserving the best for last!
True
Lyles is peaking at the best time, no reason why he can’t go sub 9.8 at the Olympics. Excited to see him in the rounds in Paris!
He'll def go sub 9.8 - no doubt.
The Jamaicans will peak at the same time 😂
Hes peaking too soon...today is his peak...nxt week he will go downhill
@@ghsense2626bro he just went 9.81 into a headwind
@@q12aw50ignore him he’s waffling
Thank you so much for not spoiling races in the title. I loathe NBC for doing it all the time, and I enjoy watching the race with your commentary as a first time viewing.
Noah is getting closer and closer to sub 9.8 and didn’t even get the best start. Also into a head wind. Olympics 100m finals is going to be 🔥. He might even crack the code just for that match up with Kishane.
I feel this will be the first time since 2012 that 9.8 won't get a medal and the 2nd ever race where all 3 run under 9.8
He got a good start by his standards. Idk that we should expect much more from him by the Olympics.
@@khumokwezimashapa2245I would love to see Noah, Kishane, Fred, and Marcell all go sub 9.8 but idk if that’s realistic. I can see 🥇Noah 9.78 🥈Fred 9.81 🥉Kishane 9.84. Fred and Kishane is a toss up.
lyles cannot break the gravity number 9.81. he has horrible starts and will not outrun sprinters who will be in their best form for the finals. Tebogo is dipping hard as well. -0.1 isn't a joke. no one can tell his true form since he wasn't giving himself any pressure or attention. Simbine ran well as well. its going to be a 9.69 winner for gold this year. whowill get there is the main question.
@@ashleymusihiwa he cannot because you said so? obviously he would have had there not been a head wind. Stop trying to limit him to suit your own bias. Let’s see what happens in Paris.
Great performance from the Southern African duo of Akani Simbine and Tebogo Letsile coming 2nd & 3rd behind the winner American Lyles. The 2024 Olympic 100m finals are going to be fireworks. Jamaican Krishane Thompson is my favorite to romp to victory. I bet on Akani & Tebogo to battle Lyles for 2nd spot. I can't wait to watch the final, but I am convinced that the 100m gold medal will return to Jamaica.
Kishane’s 9.77 had a +0.9 wind. Adjusted, Noah is 9.79, Kishane is 9.81. Kishane eased off though, but nonetheless Noah has the strongest race thus far this year. Combined with consistency, Noah should be the favorite.
If kishane had a stronger headwind and a faster time how was Noah's time faster after adjustments if Noah had a weaker hea wind and slower time?
Kishane was +0.9 wind, Noah was -0.3.
exactly @@TheRealSwiperTheFox
@@TheRealSwiperTheFox kishane had a tailwind not a headwind
You can't adjust legal tailwind times to lower times.
This entire meet needs a video of its own. This was one of the best in years.
Everytime Lyles wins, haters bring up a lot of excuses to discredit him but he keeps winning...Love it for him.❤❤
Trp i love your videos, ur the track and field youtube goat, specially with your lightning fast video making pace. looking forward to juicy content during the olympics!!!
Lyles is such a beast, and I love his smile and attitude and pretty much everything about him.
Tebogo only seemed to run for 60 meters then cruised till the end. That seems to be the part of his tace that he is working on. We know from his 200, 300 and 400 races this year that he can accelerate through the 100m finish line. Excited fot the Olympics
That's true
Thank you this man will surprise everyone this man is always on cruise control
The strength of Lyles is that he is able to perform consistently closely around his PB while other runners peak to a very high PB and can’t run closer except in exceptionally good conditions. Only for that reason he can get Gold in Paris. But hopefully other sprinters like Omanyala,Kishane,Kerley and co will peak to their PB. We need a competitive final
exactly
Kishane can run around his pb consistently if he wants to but he just doesnt want to get injured
@@jusbusff9306exactly! He’s listening to his coaches instruction which is placement not time. If you know anything about MvP you will know that they always peak when it matters because that’s how their program is set
@@jusbusff9306let’s actually seem him do it with more races under his belt. You guys come on here and say anything.

For that age to always be medalling…🔥🔥🔥🔥.I think he is still a little intimidated though but should get better notwithstanding his recent loss.
@@FistoMnisi 😂Wena just wait and see for the Olympics
If u watch closely after his start he was kinda chillin and let Lyles pass him u can tell from the last strides
Plus he smiled at the end 😂❤he told me something but let me just leave it for the Olympics you'll see
@@kagisogabonthone6980that's exactly what I said after the race. He was measuring Lyles it seemed to me. And he just realized that he has his number. I think Tebogo wins in Paris or is very close
Tobego is not intimidated.
Tobego learning Jamaican, play Possum.
Tobego can beat Lyles in 100m.
As it stands.
If Tobego
Seville
and Kishane run their race.
Noah is out.
You people are crazy. Tebogo won't even be on the podium. I'm thinking 7th or 8th place for tebogo
I watch both of lime in the stadium and I just love seeing Noah Lyles run
100% believe Tebogo will be in the medals. He just runs so free.
Blake is a shadow of his former self. He should bow out.
Noah could pull this off, but it all depends on the rounds, but he will need to PB big to win the 100m at the games.
Lyles has zero chance against Thompson. He can't even beat Seville. And neither of those guys are running the 200.
He’s definitely the favorite because since his bronze at the covid Olympics he’s proven he shows up when the lights are brightest. Kishane appears to be the future of the sport but he’s still somewhat unproven. I don’t think a “big pb” will be necessary for Noah to win. I honestly think the gold medal time will be in the 9.75-9.85 range. That’s right in Noah’s wheelhouse. A 9.81 into a slight headwind proves he can go sub 9.8. I’m hoping for something close to 9.75, but it’s been 8 years since anyone went that low. Obviously, Kishane’s 9.77, Noah’s 9.81, and Fred’s 9.76 give me hope, but 🤷🏾♂️ 😂
Noah needs to improve his starting speed
@@RiGGyForRealhe lost to Seville ONCE this year. They’re technically 1-1 on eachother and both took a PB to beat the other lol.
@@RiGGyForReal Deadass ran faster than Seville's pb in a headwind. You don't like Lyles and that's okay but don't chat shit fam 🍵
The British-Filipino Hinchcliffe will be fun to watch!
So Proud of my DC area Champ Noah Lyles Bring that Gold Back to D.C.
Noah’s split times
60m: 6.47
Last 40: 3.34.
That would mean that lyles just ran one of the fastest finishing 40 of all time into a headwind!!
@@Yes_I_c4n that's what i thought, so i'm waiting for someone like pj vazel to show the real split times
@@Yes_I_c4nyea 3.37-3.38 seems much more accurate! Still super impressive though!
So this man ran the fastest split and still bot able to get into the top 10 fastest of all time damn
Really like Noah but after seeing Kishane run and still having fuel in the tank I'd definitely have to go with KT!
Can we just appretiate all the sprinters in the top 5 from Africa?
Why should we?
Proud of them 🎉
Sad to ser yohan blake last, my favorite sprinter
Hes too old, now...way past his best
There was no Yohan Blake here 😂😅😅
I saw a vid with him couple months ago talking about Paris gold in the individual 100 which was downright delusional, as proven at Jamaican trials. Great career but time waits on no one.
Of cource, look again he was last.@@osuk1
@osuk1 yes he was last 🧐
Really interesting to see how the UKs Hinchcliffe placed, very young racer with a great future.
Yes I thought the same! He looked to accelerate the last 30 metres to overtake his fellow brits and claim 5th spot!
It will be who wants it the most on that day. But Noah is mentally strong enough to add the olympic gold to his world champs.
All the best to all the runners.
Letsile clocked a WR in the 300m and now equaled his 100m PB from last year meaning he's in better form than when he ran his 200m PB of 19.50 in 2023. 19.4's are in the making for the Olympics.
I made another comment on this channel saying Tebogo would win gold and YT deleted it. He won that slowing down and Lyles was prepping everybody for the sick cope.
Tebogo is looking really sharp too. He's just getting better and better and he's very young.,
YOOOO man's 400m was epic sub 44 while slowing down last 15m
Noah ran a good race 👍
Noah and Akani are already strong runners with that experience, beautiful beautiful beautiful indeed.
Letsile has grown tremendously, the pressure of running with the greats can ofcourse play a factor, but in the olympics he will most likey dip under 9.80, it's going to be a good one.🎉🎉🎉
FUN FACT
If the wind was 1.0+ ...the top 4 finishers would have all ran PBs

Noah will win. The more people doubt him, the better he performs. He believes and that along with his talent will propel him to victory. I can’t wait to see all of the Olympics.
Kishane Thompson is the favorite to win the 100 m final NOAH LYLES is the second favorite
I would go with Kishane as the current fastest. However, I think the Olympic gold medal is between Noah and Kishane at the moment. Man, these guys are mighty fast! Very exciting times.
Lyles, is the most consistent.
Consistency is irrelevsnt at the olympics. Fast ppl just appear like pokemon in tall grass
He just keeps getting better
9.77 makes Thompson the favorite right now, but Noah just PR'ed again - into a headwind. People saying he will never run 9.7 are just hating. I said from the beginning that Noah was going between 9.75-9.77 this year. I'm sticking with that.
Thompson will need to run 9.74 to win. We'll see if he can do that under the pressure of the olympic final.
Gonna be great to watch! 🍿🧈
Why do folks doubt Noah. He literally has already beaten Seville, Kerley, Coleman, Omanyala all who had higher PB than him and the first two having ran a faster time than Kishane. Listen the 100m is stacked & too hard to say anyone gets it ... but c'mon I fell Noah is battle tested enough to say he's a favorite. Once again as Noah mentioned regarding Kishane it's different running at the Olympics than at your home track 💯
Lyles will be battling for bronze in Paris 100. 200m gold is his though
Its common sense to look at PBs...
If each runner runs his all-time PB, the result is elementary...
@tredawakandan he lost to seville this year who beat his pb with a 9.82, he hasnt raced against omanyala this season and fred kerley and coleman havent ran that well this season.
@@fade10x96Lyles PB is 9.81 into a head wind and Seville doesn’t do good at championships
U cant count saville..saville is a youngster and only became faster this season
Nobody is going to remember the fastest time of the year. They remember the medals. Noah has the consistency and the capabilities now to pull it off, more so then Kishane in my opinion.
Kishane Thompson's shape is incredible. His musce mass and definition is ridicolous cracy.
In this shape i see Thompson ahead. But Lyles is also in great shape knows when it counts and has the experience!
Seville should medal because he really deserve it. Same with Simbine!
I don't know if anyone is paying attention to Akani simbine this man is getting more and more dangerous...his top end speed is out of this world...
His picking at the right time...with a perfect start no one will touch him...mark my words
Can’t believe how solid Loui finish is, he looked out the race and managed to pull off 4th. Apply that finish to every sprinter, reminds me of Joseph F, and his finishes in the 200m.
Yohan trying to collect as much money from these last races.

Should've been simbine
Dang, looks like Noah has cleaned up his start a ton, wow. His 200 gonna improve as well. This gotta be the year of Lyles. His drive off the blocks compared to last year is miles improved
Louei Hinchcliffes first run with the worlds fastest seniors. That young man never thought he would be competing with the worlds fastest going to Olympics.
He acquitted himself well in this race. He won't be on the podium in Paris, but he should make the final.
@LoneGunmanProd That would be great if he makes it to the finals. That's the making of future Champions when time comes for him.
I hope Jamaica will win and get that Olympic Men's 100m gold.
If Hinchcliffe can improve his start, he will be a beast!
We all with have to wait and see!! Am so going to watch all the events.. I need the channel and schedule when it all starts!!!
Man things just got more exciting
Yohan Blake's PB shows that he's a product of the past era of giants. Bolt v Gatlin v Gay v Blake v Powell was degrees of ridiculous! Complete madness 🔥😂 Congratulations to the African boys, Simbine 🇿🇦 and Tebogo 🇧🇼. Exciting talent is Noah Lyles, but there are no guarantees in 100m.
Kishane to get Gold in the Olympics 9.7 seconds
Kishane Thompson running sub 9.8 effortlessly! Don’t know why anyone has Lyles as the favorite. Don’t think it will even be close. I think Thompson has already been running 9.6’s in practice, they’re just keeping a lid on it.
Don't mind them. He ran 9.82 in the Jamaican heats and then 9.77. They are scared.
Remember the pressure of the olympics is different. Oblique and lyles have experience in big events kishane is new but I hope he surprises us
This is a great build up to the Olympics! Can’t wait
Tebogo is going to surprise a lot of people especially in 200m.
Akani and Letsile our boys you are carrying our flags and hearts do it for us. It will be tough this time as six athletes are real in contention.
The top guys are all so close now. This years olympics is gonna go crazy! I think Lyles will peak perfectly and win tho
Noah Lyles to me coz he performs the best under pressure
What a crowd in London!
Lyles is by far the most consistent with his times. Dudes gonna win the double!
Noah Lyles running a personal best of 9.81 into a slight HEADWIND is impressive. However, I still think Kishane Thompson is probably the favorite because he's likely on some type of illegal substances.

I wish Tebogo had Bolt's coach to advise him not to compete in many races before Olympics to avoid burnout.
Bolt always used to rest during Olympics year because burnout can take weeks/months to recover from. Tebogo's main competitions - Lyles & Knighton haven't run many races because they are aware of this.

Dont forget De Grasse i dont know how his season has been but u never know what he could pull off
If Noah's Cracks the Code on his Start in the Olympic Finals...! 🔥 🔥 🔥
Noah Noah Lyles has to be the favourite.
Lyles can touch the us record of tyson with perfect conditions. The only reason i don’t see him break the 200m is the accumulation of the races (that was what made bolt so great)
Kishane Thompson for the Gold in Paris Olympic a heavy favorite
Noah is in great form, no doubt but he went all out for all the races in the season so far. Kishane on the other hand looks like someone who has shut down typically around the 60-70m mark. Will be interesting to see the showdown in Paris
The beat in this video 🔥
Lyles is basically untouchable in the 200. The 100 is competitive but I don't think there's nobody faster. Man is on a mission!!
Noah, Kishane, De Grasse in that order
I think is anyone game .... Thomson looked veeery strong in the Jamaican trails, and very confident ... if Noah gets a good start, is his.
I'd go with Lyles. As he is proven to produce when it counts. But Thompson is a massive threat.
If Tebogo had the same juice that the Americans use, and bulked up a bit, he will be unbeatable
2 African Athletes Tebogo and Simbine down to Mother Earth good manners. ❤
Noah talk that talk and backs it up! Let them continue to sleep on him!!
Showshow crazy 9.58 Usain bolt records is
Good. Noah is peaking at the right time, and can be confident in his ability to contend in Paris. I am obviously still worried about Kishane, but it's gonna be realllll close.
A consistent 9.80 Lyles Vs Kishane's relax 9.77? Still giving Lyles a slight nod for consistency but as a fan of fast times I want to see Kishane run a 9.6 and take gold. Lyles running 9.78 is more than probable. Kishane 9.6 is an untested possibility but the young man has to prove himself under the Olympic pressure come August
