I love this song! Although it came out 17 years ago, it still holds up with time. It was my favorite then, and it's still my favorite today. This album made me a Morcheeba fan. I wish more music today was made this well.
Of course I love Skye and that is an impossible act to follow. But Daisy was remarkable! Her style of singing was on the leading edge of the trend of Amy Winehouse and Adel style of music. Sadly, I believe she retired from music. What a shame, she is phenomenally talented and is missed!
when an excellent signer leaves or get out of a group, it always takes time for us to get used to the new voice...I like her voice... it is strong and sweet at the same time...I wish Skye good luck!

Fans usually argue about the changes the new vocalist brought into Morcheeba, once Skye was the REAL VOICE of the band, the spirit of the thing. The guys just lost their focus, working with material that didn't sound like them... the fans complained more and more and more... good news is that Skye is back in the band since 2010.
Even though I'm convinced that Blindfold, in combination with the music video, is one of the greatest compositions ever made, this album is pretty smooth and uplifting. The most uplifting song of all, though, is of course Rome Wasn't Built in a Day accompanied close by Enjoy the Ride.
Just for the records, Daisy Martey got fired about 3 years ago from Morcheeba and hasn't been replaced since. The last album, Dive Deep, had welcome some guests though. And for those who loved Skye, you gotta hear her on Nouvelle Vague ! Worth it !! :)

Daisy ere has the voice that is for more upbeat songs, such as this. for Skye the sensuality, both are geniune muscians and i like them both EQUALLY!. I love Euro-music far more than that commercial slop we got over here in the Americas!
Something is always better than the sum of its parts. No one person "makes" anything. The old Morcheeba might be different but not better. My two favorite songs span both incarnations and are Run Honey Run and The Sea. A good group is good regardless. Like The Concretes without Victoria
Well said Barbie...I've got most of the albums and whenever I listen to them it always lifts me up. There earlier stuff is more loungy & chill but I love this album for it's bouncy, fun melodies. You should check out there new stuff...I beleive the album is called 'Dive Deep'...I've only heard a few tracks but what I've heard sounds solid. The disk is going on my Christmas list for sure!
The Godfrey brothers are still cranking out great music, but I think Skye set the bar, and any newcomers, however gifted, will always be compared to her.....Skye is back with Morcheeba, however, on the recently released album "Blood Like Lemonade"! The main thing is, keep Morcheeba going, whoever does vocals!!!!!
Wow... really a different sound than their other stuff. I like it quite a bit, but it feels less chill meets triphop and more travis meets beck =/ All the same, great upload and thanks for the tunes
Personally, i like her moves much better :) There is something carleless and light in them. And if they have *dullish* and slightly blank-faceing look, for me it just adds up to the feel of the whole video. I like her better. There is much more to explore if you watch her 'dancing'. Cute!

First of all, you don't know them, therefore you don't know their reasons for doing what they do/did. You don't know the whole story. Secondly, every artist has the right to experiment and evolve. Being 'yourself'' musically doesn't lead to progress, it's just more the same, that actually happened with their last album, even when Skye back, it's just blah, this is fresh air, Daisy did it amazing, of course it'll be an entire new time without the soul of the band but they had to move on, the real problem was to keep changing and changing vocalists, they needed to get solid since this amazing single and furthermore, and they screwed it,
Daisy is no longer the vocalist either. By the way, Skye has a solo debut album called Mind How You Go. Is a shame that those Godfrey Brothers left Skye out of the band and replaced her!
I don't deny that Skye is great! However, I don't think that Daisy gets enough credit for being a very talented singer with a great voice. Daisy wasn't the cause that Skye is no longer with Morcheeba.
Message to Morcheeba, the band's backers, et al: Ross, Paul...man, honestly, when you guys lost Skye, you lost your identity. It may be hard to admit to yourselves, but the sound, albeit not horrific, is NOT "Morcheeba" in the sense of the "Morcheeba" fans like myself liked enough to purchase and listen to. Don't believe me? Check your bank statements now vs. then. Talk about a horrendous mistake...kicking Skye to the curb was professional suicide. Why? Why?? Why??? That's all we want to know...

It´s true. Daisy has beautiful voice, but for me, it´s lacking the soothing quality of Skye´s voice. Somehow I can´t connect Morcheeba´s new songs to Morcheeba.
Song is ok as is "Wonders never cease" however it has the same problem....it only has TWO verses which are the best parts of both songs in my opinion and an over use of the chours which is also in both songs the weaker parts. Come one be more creative then giving us songs with 2 verses !!
