Wow, what a very helpful video. Thank you so very much for your hard work and time. Your willingness to help us along our journey is priceless. I have yet to conquer the bloom technique, yet I keep on practicing. Your color combination are always so pretty, and I am grateful for your knowledge. Hope to do a class with you someday, maybe when you make it to California. For us folks here in California, we can no longer get the Behr 8300 unfortunately. It was the best for blooms, now I am trying to find a replacement. I have used Behr Dynasty, and it works pretty good. Anywho, practice, practice, practice. Also, doing a video with Lisa was very informative, and funny. Thank you for everything, You Rock !
Hi I want to do a Dutch blowout using the bloom recipe for my paints which is actually Lisa’s recipe also. I have never done a Dutch blowout but I am having issues finding someone who has tried it with bloom paints bc they are usually very thick paints. Can I just mix my bloom recipe thinner or thin it out with little water inorder to try this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
This is great Kanella!! One thing I do is take a canvas box, cut the top off the box and tape puppy pads to it to prevent the mess!!!! Works like a charm... For multiple pours!
Thank you for this great video! They turned out beautiful. You could mention to your viewers that tiles can be picked up at Home for habitat stores, or a used building supply companies. I know here on the West coast of Canada, our used building supply place has boxes of them for 10 cents a piece!! And they had boxes and boxes of all different sizes. All of them had never been used.
Very, very nice!!! The nebula, and the emerald are so pretty!!! Don't think I'm ready to try this yet!!! I'll keep watching for a bit!!! You did a great job keeping things clean!
Thank you for taking the time to put this together Kanella. I tried your mixing formulas today and realized my consistencies for my blooms until now have been all too thick. I will be testing my freshly mixed ones tomorrow. I have a good feeling about this. Again thanks, this video was very, very helpful 🇨🇦🥰
I just love your tutorials. You are brilliant at them. Such great pieces. Far anyone that has polycrylic they can use that in place of the josonya. Thank you again.
I have the exact same spinner and yes I cover it multiple times and then I do go to the Dollar Tree and get shower caps but you can also for the bottom get a package of the food covering caps for bowls but I always make sure I tape it so nothing can get on it. And ask for the paint you were showing you can get all them in the US if no one's aware of that but I'm sure they are. I'm glad you stepped out of your comfort zone and done something new. And from what you showed us so far on The Coasters you're doing an awesome job.
I've been trying to get the right consistency since I started doing bloom and swipe and with your ratios, it will help so much. THANK YOU for sharing with us. Greatly appreciated!!
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, you are freaking amazing!! I replayed the original video so many times to catch the ratios, I need to out and get some behr, so happy to see that you can use other colors besides white for pillow. I see a lot of practicing in the next couple weeks 😂 Again, thank you for what you do to help us (me) in more ways than you know. 🤗💜💕
I'd like to try it but it's a pretty expensive technique. I think you're picking up the technique so well. Beautiful results! U should buy a paint can pouring spout to keep down the mess at the top of the can😉
Oh my goodness!! I think you had paint up to your elbows!! 😲 You need to invite Tammy up to play with paint for a week!! You know she blooms and plays with it a lot. Your styles are different, which would make several collabs a lot of fun!! ❤️❤️ She can get your confidence up better than anyone else could!! Plus it seems like you might have more painting/filming space than she does. As far as keeping things clean, I recommend Kathleen Miller! She uses a collapsible puppy pool. And keeps her paints and space meticulous!! 👀 She has done a lot of different swiping methods and enhancing methods you might enjoy. She and Phil are a riot!! 😂 One of the first techniques was called the drizzle, swip, wreck and spin. It gives a very stained glass look. They now call wrecking, enhancing, which it really does! You should see that gal enhance with a marble!! 🥰 I know you are aware of her channel because I started watching her after you mentioned seeing her use "the world's smallest leaf blower" eons ago!! 🤗😍
Great video, Kanella! Making up your mind to jump in is no small feat. I don’t really measure, but definitely see the value for those that need it for their confidence. Most of those will dry darker, but the TLPs will be even more glorious against the dark, and even more fabulous under resin! Thanks for giving us 3+ hours of your time, it’s a huge and valuable gift. Well done and thanks for sharing 👍
thank you once again for Canadian information. I use a puppy pool as Kathleen Miller video 498. Keeps all the mess contained. Keep experimenting for us all
I loved this video so helpful and your coasters are lovely. I had a chuckle near the end because I have never seen you in such a mess and I thought to myself she is human after all lol cheers
Hi Kanella, great job, I love them. Thank you for the measurements/recipes. I bought some tiles last week and noticed the backs weren't flat but had a raised pattern on the them, I suppose to help the grout stick. Do you have a raised pattern on the back of your tiles? It's going to be a problem for me when putting cork on them to protect table surfaces. I'm wondering if I can sand them flat. 😊❤️🙏🇦🇺🐨🎨
Kanella, thank you so very much for taking hours of your time to explain the Bloom Swipe technique and give us the ratios. Your coasters and round turned out gorgeous. You should be so proud of yourself!!!! You made me laugh when you were spinning with the mess. I don't like messiness so when I try this I will be freaking out too🥺I will definitely watch video #500 and #504 again and take notes. Are you going to resin them and if so please show us as I'm sure they will look AMAZING!!
I think you did marvelous! Thanks for all the tips tricks and measurements 😊 I loved watching you play with just as I will be doing🥴 And in the end your pieces looked gorgeous ❤
Hello kanella you did a wonderfull work thank you for sharing this with us its very helpfull and you can be very pride of yourself because the result is gorgeous thank again for all the time you spend for making this video👏👏👏
Excellent video! When the swipe doesn't look right, I use the transfer swipe to see if that helps. Tip on dirty gloves: change them when dirty. I saw a few dark purple drops fly while you were picking up cups and laying down paint on the larger round.
Thanks for the ratios and congrats for sharing something that you'll surely master soon. But I see that messing everything could be an obstacle for you to enjoy it thoroughly. A tip that helps me: think of an electric potter's wheel with its big receptacle for liquid clay. So I bought a big, deep plastic basin, and you can put it on top of the turntable . Also, I use a grid from a minibar, or one of these stands with a grid, and then the paint goes to the basin, and also you can use the skins and recycle the paint, less waste. And you can use a little tile or a piece of wood to avoid your tile or wood to stick to the wet paint. Just ideas... great spinner, it runs like a hare... Go on and don't dismay, you're doing beautifully.
Thank you soooo much for doing this! I’ve been Blooming for almost a year and can Bloom but gave up a few months ago because I was sick of mixing paint every time I wanted to paint. I’m so excited to be able to premix and paint whenever I want. I’ve also used Artists Loft and Liquitex paints and they work really well too. I know you have used those brands in your Dutch Pours…..if you feel like doing more ratios 😉
Kanella, the end results look gorgeous! I'll have to look at how they dried in the next video. I recently bought a foldable pet pool and the cake stand yesterday. However, I may wait until Spring and do it in my garage. I share your opinion regarding "messes" and cleanup!
Wow how did I miss this???!!!🙄😭Sooooo happy you mentioned the link in today's video, so thank you 😍*SUPER* helpful, interesting and encouraging. Yes, we *can* do it !! 🏋💪👍🤭
Thank u so much for taking the time and effort to share ur journey with us!! I love all the different color bases ur have and cant wait to see more!! 😊 They look amazing!! Fingers crossed they behave when they r drying 💕
Wow girl, you really out did yourself in your learning process. Awesome beautiful pieces. I am so thankful for the ratios. I will be watching again so I can get them written down in my Art Bible under the tab especially for you. Thank you again for so much informative information. Heh that sounded funny. Great video! 💕🤗💕
Thank god for the ratios. Thank you. Love the yellow in the coasters. The round is beautiful! I bought all the material and I am also practicing. I am using Amsterdam, Arteza and Deco Art paint. We shall see if it works. Here in Montreal, I paid 57$ for the Behr 8300. Have a nice day🙂
VERY new. Thanks so much for explaining the cell activator. I always see everyone using titanium white but I had no idea what it was mixed with. I thought they put Floetrol in ALL the paints. Very confuses old lady lol
Great tip a very dear friend of mine gave me on the tiles if you don't like them or you're into skins for jewelry you can always put them in hot water for 5 minutes very hot water take them out take an exacto knife around the edges and then you can just peel that paint right up this is after they've dried and then you have your self a square of paint skin and your design still there.
Also. I put puppy pads under my spinner which makes it easy to pick up the runoff and toss it away. And a round silicone mat on top of the spinner makes it tons easier to scrape the run off onto the puppy pad.
I have a plastic table cloth underneath which I wrap up and toss when I’m done. Much cheaper than puppy pads. And I have a silicone mat ordered and on the way. Just waiting for it to arrive.

Keep experimenting for us all
They are so stunning ! wow is all I have to say. Thanks this was a very helpful video.
So funny watching you do this, especially as you hate mess. They are pretty but personally I prefer the blooms. Best wishes from the UK 🇬🇧
I loved this video so helpful and your coasters are lovely. I had a chuckle near the end because I have never seen you in such a mess and I thought to myself she is human after all lol cheers
Great info & great job on the coasters
gorgeous. I think the black cell activateror looks good on the darker color, and white may look good on lighter colors.
I love all of them. You are learning quickly & doing a great job in my opinion! Keep forging ahead my friend!
I think they turned out better with you blowing them out they look awesome
Agreed
Thanks for sharing it sure is alot of work they turned out so pretty. Can't wait to see them dry.
WOW thank you s much, the information in this video is so helpful for us beginners. Now time to practice :)
It's matching. Well done. Waiting for the whole thing 😊
No my tiles are pretty flat on the back. Just a small raised texture but it doesn’t affect me putting cork on the back
Kanella, thank you so very much for taking hours of your time to explain the Bloom Swipe technique and give us the ratios.
Yes I will resin them and show the results in an upcoming video. 😊
I think you did marvelous! Thanks for all the tips tricks and measurements 😊 I loved watching you play with just as I will be doing🥴 And in the end your pieces looked gorgeous ❤
So glad I saw this! Bought it before it could sell out! Thank you!
Luckily. Cause I think there’s only about 20 left!
Kanella, THANK YOU SO SO MUCH for all of the work you put into your video! Yes, every bit if info was extremely helpful! ❤
That was a lot of fun Kanella, I love the coasters and the round 2nd try
Hello kanella you did a wonderfull work thank you for sharing this with us its very helpfull and you can be very pride of yourself because the result is gorgeous thank again for all the time you spend for making this video👏👏👏
As usual you came up with a solution. I did like the colors
They all turned out beautifully! Great job!
You could totally do a little wispie with the swipe
Thank you soooo much for doing this! I’ve been Blooming for almost a year and can Bloom but gave up a few months ago because I was sick of mixing paint every time I wanted to paint. I’m so excited to be able to premix and paint whenever I want.
I’ve also used Artists Loft and Liquitex paints and they work really well too. I know you have used those brands in your Dutch Pours…..if you feel like doing more ratios 😉
Lol. I won’t be doing ratios for artist loft or liquitex unfortunately.
@@KanellaCiracoArt I had to ask 😝 Thank you for all your tutorials, inspiration and all you do!
Do artist loft and liquidtex paints work for a boom? What ratio do u use?
@KanellaCiracoArt can you use liquidtex or artist loft paints in a bloom? What would the ratio be?
That was a great video. Now to try this.🤔
The ratio’s are brilliant not to mention extremely helpful and So precise, thank you for taking the time to do this video. 🤗🤗
The coasters are gorgeous
Great tutorial.... Thanks Kanella 💕
Thank u so much for taking the time and effort to share ur journey with us!! I love all the different color bases ur have and cant wait to see more!! 😊 They look amazing!! Fingers crossed they behave when they r drying 💕
Great video. Appreciate you very much for showing all of us the ratio. Everything was pretty.
Wow everything turned out beautiful. This was very helpful. Thanks for sharing. 👍
