Favorite quote: Isobel: “How you hate to be wrong. “ Violet: “ I wouldn’t know. I’ve never had the sensation .”
I am sorry that someone hurt you. I, too, have had someone be shockingly rude to me and it’s quite hard to overlook. I can forgive, which releases me. But the wound goes deep and it develops a scar. Like physical scars, you learn to live with it.
Prayers that you work through the pain.
You obviously have a big heart and as such life can be harder than it is for others.
You do a great service for others through your channel. Thank you.
Take care and be as kind to yourself as you would be to a friend going through the same thing. Sending a hug.

I hear you so much about people who have moved in to the light and dark over the last two years. I have focused on being present, positive and empathetic.

Absolutely beautifully done! Such a sweet spirit you have and your summary captured the essence of it all.
As an older gentleman I feared that I would not take to Downton Abbey. Yet I found it to be quite refreshing with brilliant writers and a most believable and natural dialog. I was quite interested in how an “Earl” earns enough money on a yearly bases to make payroll for such a large household staff and the in-house entertainment plus how an Abbey is kept up in such style. (A semester of business management unfolds in the background during this series for astute viewers.)
One of the most impactful scenes to me was when Mr. Bates was being let go but Lord Crawley reversed the decision at the last moment. I believe it was not due to a change of heart on Lord Crawley’s part (he really didn’t want to let him go in the first place but was more or less pressured into it).
It was Lord Crawley’s acknowledgement that he could right this wrong not because he was “The Earl” in charge but because of his responsibility to the people in his charge.
A quite insightful show on several fronts that is fully engaging and entertaining.

I've never seen the show but I really enjoyed listening to you talking about it. I'm sorry someone was so unkind to you. You are a very kind and positive person, I hope that you have been able to put that experience behind you.

I am listening to you talking about needle point or some other handwork getting the ideas flowing. I am working on my 21st quilt and 2 afghan since last May. I have had several wedding gifts and baby gifts to make, along with making the grandchildren each a quilt. Every time I'm working on one of them, I am thinking of all the other items I can make when I finish the projects I am on. YES, doing hand work sure does get your brain working! Thanks for your videos. I appreciate you.

The moment when Anna's water breaks in Lady Mary's bedroom and without a second thought or the blink of an eye Lady Mary arranges for Anna to stay there and have her baby. Deep down, they were truly friends.

I love DA! I ashamedly admit that I didn't finish the series. LOL I absolutely agree about the cards/letters. One of my hobbies is papercrafts / cardmaking and I routinely gift people handmade cards as a gift to help encourage this. Because they say that "no one will print off a happy birthday text" but they will display the cards. I totally agree that the core of humanity has taken a shift. The ugly is sooooooo.... big.

“What’s a weekend?” Lol! This one gets me every time I watch Downton Abbey, which I’m watching again. There is so much history in this as well.
I graduated from college at age 42 (married with 3 kids). The summer I graduated I was so stressed! My mom asked me what she could do to help me, anything she could buy me? I asked her for a coloring book and crayons! I had discovered that when I was coloring with my youngest child the stress was less!
Thanks for pointing out the lessons taught in one of my most loved tv shows.

Hey Jennifer, I've never watched the show but I enjoyed listening to you talk about it and the characters, I love Maggie Smith too - I'm really sorry that someone was unkind to you, there really is no good reason for people to behave this way even if they are hurt and/or upset, I hope you've been able to move past it and feel abit better now. I also loved the quote at the end, it actually made me cry because it's so true and when I my dad passed away many years ago I wrote a poem called old rings and memories which kind of sums it all up - I hope you have a lovely weekend much love from the UK ❤️
