Agree 100% we aren’t out of debt yet but we have paid cash for our vacay the past 2 years which before would have been charged and it feels wonderful 🥰 this years trip is already paid for as well and not charged 😁 trips with little ones are just so special ☺️

Another fine video, Jennifer! Beautiful day here. Yes, the idea of outright owning a car didn't occur to me until I dated a guy (way back in my dating days pre-Ron!) who told me he bought his car w/cash so he didn't have car payments. That was a new concept to me !

Pat I received your gift and had tears in my eyes. It's too beautiful to use. Thank you so much for such a beautiful hand made work of love! I am going to share it in the next video I film. I love it so much! 🤗❤️

@@THEJENNIFERCOOK Oh my goodness ! I'm so glad you love it that much ! I forgot to say in my note that I made your dishcloth long because I've noticed you have such graceful, long fingers !
Well, you are so very welcome. I'm touched that you were moved to tears. That is so sweet.
      😘 🙋‍♀️

I want to save money now so I don't get 20yrs down the track when my kids are finally all gone and I really want to do something eg travel, and have no money to do it. So I'm thinking that far ahead and starting now.

@@THEJENNIFERCOOK I have you to thank for helping me to stop squirrelling away my money now, living paycheck to paycheck and actually stop and think about what my future self would like to be. I'm only 39, so I'm so glad I found you when I did 2years ago and now have over $20,000 in saving because I became frugal and minimal. ❤️😌

Awesome video!!! I really enjoy watching every video you make. I drive a 2013 kia rio. It's been paid off a long time ago. For as long as it runs, why pay for a newer one? It's money in the bank. Especially now that everything is so expensive. It is going on 420k km and still going strong. When i'll need another one, the money is there to buy it 😊

Great video! I feel your pain on your air conditioner repair. We had to purchase a new heat/air unit which was totally unexpected and unplanned for in our budget. The old unit was put in when we had our house built, and we somehow thought it would last forever!

I had to replace my HVAC in 2016. It was almost $7000. Thankfully I was able to pay it off in less than 2 years. However I struggle with trying to save for everything: Repairs, Emergencies, Major Purchases, etc. It can be slow so "emergencies" tend to pop up faster than I can save.

@@brianpulliam1100 I know exactly what you mean! Down through the years, the cost of emergencies have sometimes surpassed our savings account balance.
