The play you pulled up at 4:00 min when you look at a replay where you can see the full route Collins slows down half way through until he sees the ball in the air. If he continues running from when CJ throws the ball it is right in is chest.
yep, plus the Texans dropped two easy catches early. Stroud's accuracy is ridiculous. He was 16 of 21 and the WR's were at fault on 3 of his 5 incompletions. Zero pics to boot.
I love Stroud's poise. Nobody was really talking about him being a threat this year and media portrayed him so poorly for no reason when he dominated at tOSU. And talk about a spark for this defense. If stingley, anderson and company continue to play and execute at a high level, this team can go far. Rooting for them. Texas fans should be excited and hoping they can use these Browns picks nicely in the upcoming few years.
This dude has ice in his veins and has looked this way most of the year. He looked like a top 3 QB within half a season. I don’t watch any college football, can anyone explain to me why the 5’5” Bryce Young was the unanimous first overall pick instead of Stroud? Jackson was the only sports podcaster I know of who had Stroud ranked #1
Bryce was Drew Brees like in college so the pundits were attracted to that. Stroud is basically Justin Herbert and he plays just like Herbert. Big cannon arm, downfield bombs with good accuracy. I think between Stroud and Herbert the area of small agile QBs is at an end. We’re back to the NFL obsession with size and big arm.
Browns fan here. Texans earned every bit of that victory. But I find it more of Stefanski being complacent and never anticipating that the Texans were going to be different and scheme differently. Stefanski says time and time again he has a "formula", and that's a problem because formulas don't change and can be figured out.
Great human as well as exceptional once in a lifetime qb. Houston really hit the jackpot to get such a well-rounded young precious man. Has sound god fearing beliefs. Not braggodocious but very solf spoken humble young role model. The best in every dimension!😊
Yeah so Collins immediately noticed that it was a blown coverage and instead of continuing to run he slows for a second to look back by the time he did that CJ was already throwing the ball anticipating him continuing to run.
2:24 just wanted to say that’s cover 1 the right saftey drops down into the hole to disguise it as 2 man until the snap, the left saftey drops into the middle 3rd
His passing schemes are amazing. His running schemes constantly have blown blocking and ran on the stacked side. He is kinda one dimensional but Singletary has bailed him out with his constant yards after tackle
Never seen what everyone else did in the Browns in this match up, backup QB vs the Texans streaking white hot at the right moment with a phenom QB? This was a no brainer pick imo.
I doubt anyone was expecting back-to-back pick 6s from playoff Flacco or the Browns D to be bulldozed as hard as they were considering their regular season level.
@@ianbrudnakvoss3126 Flacco is 38 and him turning into a pumpkin was bound to happen sooner or later. I was surprised at how quiet Myles Garrett was, the Browns defense on the back end is exploitable if he's quiet, but I thought he'd be his usual game-wrecker self and at least keep the game close.
@@heavylobster4339 Flacco costing them was really to be expected yeah, but I know I didn't think it be as spectacular and as severe as it was. He's also had a great track record in the playoffs of at least doing enough to make the game interesting, so I for one was expecting it to be at least close despite the his age especially since, as you mentioned, they've got a game-wrecker on D that could've made up for an interception or two (at least, had they not been brought all the way back).
Well I guess everything is falling into place like I predicted. My Ravens will host Houston and then dust off KC in a disrespectful manner. And then grind whoever’s in the SB Flock Gang
Lol keep thinking that. Lamar had such a mid season and got overrated at the end of the season when his defense took over early and he got good field position ever drive. We have the better QB and a solid defense. Good luck fam.

Bryce Young was the first pick because he had a meal with the Panthers Owner. The head coach who wanted CJ got fired.
@@sunnyhorrormedia the talking heads on TV ranked Bryce #1 too

@@Zetlerit’s funny you say that bcuz stroud watched Bree’s film growing up😂
@@Zetler there was never an era of small, mobile QBs. There’s been like two smallish QBs ever that are good, the rest are 6’2”+ and 220lbs+

I agree. They played the Texans using their last games film with Keenum in. That was a huge mistake.

Let’s go CJ
Primetime CJ

agreed.
Collin’s slowed down on that play before he slipped. That wasn’t Strouds fault.
Was tough to see won't happen again though
The fact that it was literally shocking that he didn’t complete that pass says everything you need to know.
Bruh w quick w it 😂😂.
He should have went first overall the Georgia game showed what he was capable of when playing the best of the best his game elevated
Keenum was recently injured and Mills is still young, so it made sense to go to him over Keenum in a game that was already out of hand.
The Robert woods slander is wild
Houston is losing their OC this offseason I fear. Dude has the secret sauce, someone is wide tf open nearly every down.
He's responsible for Daimen Pierces regression, just fyi.
His passing schemes are amazing. His running schemes constantly have blown blocking and ran on the stacked side. He is kinda one dimensional but Singletary has bailed him out with his constant yards after tackle
liked the video, why all the hate on robert woods though????
Is that it stroud has had the best rookie year for a qb?
Demeco Ryan’s vs MCDC for coach of the year

I won the chip with Stroud in Madden 😅
The Browns's defensed id not come to play defense unless they had rookies playing their first game.
