The play you pulled up at 4:00 min when you look at a replay where you can see the full route Collins slows down half way through until he sees the ball in the air. If he continues running from when CJ throws the ball it is right in is chest.

yep, plus the Texans dropped two easy catches early. Stroud's accuracy is ridiculous. He was 16 of 21 and the WR's were at fault on 3 of his 5 incompletions. Zero pics to boot.

I love Stroud's poise. Nobody was really talking about him being a threat this year and media portrayed him so poorly for no reason when he dominated at tOSU. And talk about a spark for this defense. If stingley, anderson and company continue to play and execute at a high level, this team can go far. Rooting for them. Texas fans should be excited and hoping they can use these Browns picks nicely in the upcoming few years.

This dude has ice in his veins and has looked this way most of the year. He looked like a top 3 QB within half a season. I don’t watch any college football, can anyone explain to me why the 5’5” Bryce Young was the unanimous first overall pick instead of Stroud? Jackson was the only sports podcaster I know of who had Stroud ranked #1

    • @sunnyhorrormedia

Bryce Young was the first pick because he had a meal with the Panthers Owner. The head coach who wanted CJ got fired.

Bryce was Drew Brees like in college so the pundits were attracted to that. Stroud is basically Justin Herbert and he plays just like Herbert. Big cannon arm, downfield bombs with good accuracy. I think between Stroud and Herbert the area of small agile QBs is at an end. We’re back to the NFL obsession with size and big arm.

Browns fan here. Texans earned every bit of that victory. But I find it more of Stefanski being complacent and never anticipating that the Texans were going to be different and scheme differently. Stefanski says time and time again he has a "formula", and that's a problem because formulas don't change and can be figured out.

I agree. They played the Texans using their last games film with Keenum in. That was a huge mistake.

I was surprised at how quiet Myles Garrett was, the Browns defense on the back end is exploitable if he's quiet, but I thought he'd be his usual game-wrecker self and at least keep the game close.

@@heavylobster4339 Flacco costing them was really to be expected yeah, but I know I didn't think it be as spectacular and as severe as it was. He's also had a great track record in the playoffs of at least doing enough to make the game interesting, so I for one was expecting it to be at least close despite the his age especially since, as you mentioned, they've got a game-wrecker on D that could've made up for an interception or two (at least, had they not been brought all the way back).
