Everything about this game was off and I didn’t even think the Eagles defense was playing that great. You wait the whole game without throwing to your number 1 receiver until 4th qtr. everything he’s been doing right up to this point he did wrong tonight. He wasn’t checking down and seems to processing everything slowly. We really need a bye week and I don’t understand why we have to wait til week 14th. That’s totally unfair to any team that have to wait that late for a bye week
He was locked down by Quinyon Mitchell and expected to win - the rookie gives up nothing. He's a human glue. He is what Sauce has been the last two years. Mitchell's has faced some fine talent Jamar Chase, CD Lamb, Malik Nabers, Amari Cooper to name a few. Opposing teams have to scheme their guy open or get a different match-up to get their ace receivers open. They could have put Mclaurin in motion or get a better match-up - otherwise that player lining up across Mitchell basically becomes a sacrificial X receiver.
I wonder if Kingsbury should take a large portion of the blame. It seems to be a trend that his offense starts off hot at the start of the year and gets shut down by mid year. The eagles defense had everything medium and deep locked up well. The 2 back pistol set seemed to be KKs way of trying to keep things fresh but it doesn't seem to have worked.
Daniels is a rookie. Rookies look like rookies every once in a while. Good defenses are going to make him look mortal. With a better offensive line and someone across from Mclaurin, the Commanders would look pretty good.
I agree to a point. JD looked lackluster, throwing a lot of behind balls and some low ones. His run looked slower then before. It could be tired, it could be nerves, it was definitely the defense but I think that pain is more than he is letting on. I just worry that pride and the mistaken belief that he needs to shoulder the team every down is what kept him in when he probably should have sat the last quarter at least. Hopefully, he will sit next week, especially if Dallas is supposed to be in such disarray.. The extra rest will do him good.
I feel like his rib injury is greatly impacting his ability to throw the ball. He can't twist his torso to create that extra torque for his passes so these underthrows make a lot of sense he just doesn't have the same throwing power he does when he is healthy. i also feel like it is slowing down is running making defending against this offense pretty trivial for NFL defenses. They really ought to let him rest at least a little bit. Got a bye week coming up and what should be a freebie against the cowboys why not give him two weeks off or maybe have him play to get ahead of the cowboys and then let him sit.
@@Be_yaself Injuries can worsen the longer they go untreated... plusim a Bills fan so im just trying to understand the sudden shift.
