    A good artillery system.
Fast, robust, precise, air transportable in its MK1 version.
In any case it seems very effective in the hands of the Ukrainian gunners and which according to them is surely the best conventional artillery system they have.
NB: They still had the balls to put them on barges to crush the island of snakes and scare the Russians away.
    Bravissimo.

To complete your comment, the 8x8 version is also air transportable but in a A400M air transporter or larger, while the 6x6 versions can also been loaded in C130/160 thanks to their lower weight and volume (the future 6x6 Mk2 version will remain compact and light enough to be loaded in a C130 air transporter)

It' not so well known, BUT France have à very long history in artillery, I'm french. I am quite sûre french invited 18 century kind of explosive ammunition about 155 mm I also think we directly " invented" the modern 155mm look at 155 GPF Grande Puissance Filloux in 1917 this gun was expoted everywhere and gave birth to the American " 155 long rifle" or somename like that. And this GPF is the ancester of CAESAR ( LOL : simply means Truck with a Gun is is funny) yep No NRBC on the version of the moment BUT probably not easy to do. The TATRA 8x8 version looks like requiring à full ataumated charging because the culasse of gun is really very high ( not so nice) just 2 things missing in this VERY nice vidéo THALES quality for aiming system is surely world best class and CAESAR can aim and fire so quick that 6 rounds touch target at same time !!! With variation of time of flight USMC have à footage in Afghanistan where they film the blast and says " that's the French ! " because of précision, and simultaneous impacts
Last for history in France we have the very fameuse affair DREYFUS 1895 à juish artillery officer accused for spying for german (was false) just we invented à super gun ... the "75" mm "sans recul" means the 75mm not moving when firing. And we have A400m to give wings to CAESAR. Avé 😀
Everybody believes that germans are first class artillery, it is à HUGE mistake.

👍🏻 great video thanks. Has you say Caesar has created a new segment in the artillery with lower cost, high mobility, fire rate and precision strikes from a distance.
It complements perfectly other types of artillery pieces that are used for different purposes.
Great tool to have and apparently the Ukrainians are very happy with it as it delivers what they currently need to harass the back of the russian army very efficiently and from a distance.
For now out of 18pcs delivered only 1 gets damaged by loitering munitions all the others seems to be running perfectly and maintenance is not a big headache apparently.
One can regret the limiter number of shells that the 6x6 versions carries and the light armour but that’s to be compared with the versatility and ability to move much faster and better than most other piece of artillery of this class.

And when operating from a safe FOB then they don't need to carry them as the suply is localy available.
