Congratulations on the arrival of your little one! My little is 15 months now, its crazy how fast time goes! The more I hear labour stories the more I realise how lucky I was as a first time mum and how well it went. Hope your feeding journey is going well! Those first month or so when you're learning about each other and latches with sleep deprivation is hard!
Congratulations!! Thank you for sharing your story. I have had 2 children 11 months apart and both were very traumatising. Epidural fell out for both right at the worst times. My first I ended up in theatre with an assisted birth. And my second baby was exactly the same except he was well and truly stuck and his heart rate was dropping to 60. So ended up with an emergency csection. And ended up back in surgery as I then had internal bleeding 2 days later. And the moral of this story is I am never going back for another baby haha. Welcome to motherhood it is honestly the best job you will ever have ❤️
My second was similar - I was induced, it went slowly & I was only a few cm dilated when the midwife noticed the baby’s heartbeat was dropping. Every contraction, it would drop really low, then come back up, but each time it came back slightly lower. So there was this gradual decrease in her heartbeat. So emergency caesarean for us. It was a shock, but there’s no point in sticking with a plan if baby’s life is at risk Congratulations on your baby, glad it all came out okay in the end, even if it was traumatic at the time
Your birth story is what inspired me to post mine (it took me so long because I also got really emotional talking about it) but I had to come back and say so 😂😎
I had my 3rd daughter just over a year ago & we didn't make the hospital. My water broke in the car on the way & I ended up having to deliver her on my friends couch ha ha
I didnt enjoy my labour! I ended up having an epidural then my legs were in stirrups. I kept telling them that one side of my leg was uncomfortable. I lost nearly 2ltrs of blood. Started vomiting. After giving birth they tried putting my daughter on me but i was still vomiting i really couldn't hold her. After the birth one side of my leg ended up being numb. I couldn't move it on its own for a good month till i saw a chiropractor and they ended up fixing it!

I'm glad yours went well. One of the lucky ones! The time goes so fast. Harry is now 10 weeks old and has grown soooooo much!

Well done to you for going back for a second! I'm in no rush to be giving birth again. It really is the best job though :)

Oh my gosh that does not sound like a pleasant experience at all. I'm glad the Chiro could do something for you!
