I saw The Cure actually at two gigs in 2022. This is the greatest active band in the world. All shows sold out, a long and amazing setlist, the line up is full of perfect musicians. Awesome.

There are so many tracks on this album I loved: “Start” “Trust” “From The Edge Of The Deep Green Sea” “Cut” to name a few, but “End” really stood out, and still does. I always felt personally that I had to be something I wasn’t and so the lyric “Please stop loving me, I am none of these things” really resonated with me. Still does. The detachment started here. You can turn this fully up and stick your headphones on and you would still not come anywhere close to what it was actually like to be there. Glorious.

I miss these days when Robert actually sang (of late his vocal performance is more of a talking cadence…won’t stop from seeing them every time I can though!)
