@@Network-yp8de well i get that, but it should be a bit challenging otherwise u should move to intermidiate workouts adn not beginners. OFC u can enjoy your rokouts u are supose to, but If they are not challenging they are not good for u
@@wolololer oh yes, absolutely! I think in this case, since the levels are harder each time, it would be alright to not take it as hard, and progress slowly! but to each their own y'know? everyone exercises differently, plus it can be fun to do challenging stuff as well -- so long as they're not overexerting themselves
I’m on day 14 of doing this every single day for my 75 soft challenge. This is the PERFECT workout for this challenge because I can go easy on low energy days and it’s short enough to do daily. Quad hold still kill me every time, but I’ve been able to progress on some of the others! Can’t wait to see the progress after 75 days. 😁
@@WatchingListening-_-Meh Hi, it’s the “softer” or easier version of a challenge from the book 75 Day, basically a challenge where you workout every single day, stay hydrated, and do other things aimed at helping you grow as a person such as reading every day. When you do something every single day vs a few times a week, it helps it become a habit. Knowing myself, if something feels WAY too challenging (like the 45min workout TWICE daily the challenge proposes) I am likely going to give up. But if it’s something small, it’s easier to stick to.
These were kind of easy for me to do, and it made glad that this is an actual beginner workout rather than those "beginner" workouts that keep me sore for a week or two and I can't do more workouts because of it. Thank you and I'm loving you rn.
Please make more videos!! As a girl who is tired of weight training and wanting to get into calisthenics, this video is GOLD. I love the way you do your video. It's a non-intimidating way to get started with calisthenics. Can you please make more??
I've said for years "I want to do calathetics". I'm 34. Today I started and this made me feel so strong and so in control. I've lifted weights for years and this was the first time I loved using the weight of my own body instead. 💪
From tomorrow I'll follow this routine, after 2months of severe anemia, and loosing faith in my weak body, this is exactly what I need, I will not end up sabotaging or procrastinate
@@nblessthan3 Yes she can. We all can. We are all way too over carbed. Dr. Jason Fung changed my life. He is on RUclips. A kidney doctor specializing in nutrition.
@Purple Orchid I have anemia too it's crazy how it can take a toll on your body. Glad you're trying to step into a new habit, please remember to be kind to yourself and recognize that your anemia doesn't define you, to seperate yourself from the impacts it has on your body and to not guilt-trip yourself if you feel weak and have days that you prefer resting because that weakness isn't you and it's not your fault. Good luck with calisthenics, wishing you to recover and to be healthy 🙏
I came here as a first timer, 40yrs old wanting to turn my life around. I’ve always had decent aerobic fitness but as I’ve gotten older I’ve found injuries and aches/pains are more common due to poor core strength and flexibility. Admittedly I didn’t finish the workout due to hard floor and no shoes but I broke a mild sweat and felt some amazing muscle movements and interactions I’ve never felt before. Cannot wait to try this again in a day or so and keep progressing though shoes and a yoga mat may be required! Stay tuned would love to share my journey with you all
Thank you for creating a true beginner calisthenics workout. If I’m having trouble getting motivated to exercise, I know I can handle this, and once I’m warmed up, I always end up pushing myself harder/doing the more progressive exercises than I thought I’d have the energy for. I appreciate that you make it easy for me to make the healthy decision to move my body. I always feel good after I finish.
She is so right! I did see a difference in a short time. I did this workout 1.5 weeks ago, and it was so hard. Now I can do the more challenging version of almost every exercise!
Finally, some real beginner's workouts! Not like those videos that are like, "Here are some calisthenics for beginners," and then they pull explosive push-ups and pistol squats.
This workout is just perfect to begin with. Im a 33 year old husband, father and high school teacher, so im not exactly working out in my daily routine. This workout was very gentle and yet difficult enough, i found myself not being able to do some variations 😂 thank you very much!
I just wanna say thank you thank you thank you. I never work out and it has been hard for me to find a video that makes me sweat, yet isn't too challenging that it makes me feel avoidant and discourged
Today is the first day in my life trying calisthenics. I have been doing yoga for the past 6 months so I am so happy to find many of these moves are just like yoga but faster. I am so excited to begin my calisthenics journey. Thank you for this video, Lucy! P.S I love how the rest time is included in the video.

Starting calisthenics because I've had a shoulder injury and now I'm working with a slight knee injury... I completely understand the frustration and I am so glad that I have found this video and channel to help me get started! This video was great!!
I am doing these three days a week after recoverying from a back injury and not working out at all for two months. At first I felt so ashamed for the lack of strength and stamina but reading others comments have been really helpful.
Yay! A new workout vid! I’ll try this one out tonight-thank you Lucy! I’m 41, with about 25 lbs left to lose, but I’m probably stronger than I’ve ever been because of following you the past few months 😀
Lucy, that was great! I just moved back to MI form FL and moving cross country is so stressful. I have been badly injured by two different chiropractors in FL where both times, I was in bed for a month. I have been teaching Pilates for 30 yrs but with all of this, I'm also bone on bone in my right shoulder ( I used to be a weight lifter, not heavy but Figure COmps) and I suffered shoulder injuries during that time. And this was so great and doable for me. And I hope your back injury gets better. I'm proud and pleased of you and for you ,for the ham strech at the end. It's a scary thing to do a video and not be at the top end of the exercise. BAM girl excellent! I have been in fitness for 30 yrs and this was a great workout.

This is my first calisthenics workout. It looked too easy and quickly I realized how simple movements can actually be positively challenging. Loved your workout! TY!
First ever callisthenics workout (beginner to strength training in general - I mainly do yoga/hiking) and it was the perfect amount of challenging. I found the push ups almost impossible even on the easiest variation as my arms are probably my weakest area, but modified to do them against the wall until I build up some strength!! Everything else was at the perfect level for me. Thank you so much for motivating me to see it through until the end ❤
WOW talk about the 80/20 % rule. In such little time so much was accomplished because my entire body was sore for days. Thank you! Glad I found your work.
FINALLY an actual beginners friendly workout that was straight to the point, no super long into and got done within less than 30 mins. As someone that’s getting into their fitness journey I truly appreciate videos like these!!! Thank you!! ❤
This was my very first calisthenics workout. It was way harder than I thought it was gonna be but not quite too hard that couldn't do it. My 3 year old was even enjoying doing it with me (and kicking my butt at it lol) 😂
This workout was great & im glad I followed through & actually did something today! I haven’t worked out anything in the last 3 weeks , this was great Lucy! I will def be back tmrw !😊

This was my first time doing one of your workout videos and I really liked it. You made it feel easy even though some variations were more challenging. You have a very nice and calm voice. Please make more of these :) (Sound quality is great btw ^^)
Thank you Lucy! I’ve recently switched from a very physical job to an office role. 2 months in I’m seeing the consequences of sitting all day. I’m using this workout 2 days on/1 day off for the first two weeks of my home workout journey to get my body “up to par” and I’ll branch out from there. Thanks for making this accessible, fun, and encouraging!
I am an absolute beginner and I can only get it through to round 2 + cool down. This workout makes me feel great, thank you! I will continue until I can do the full video ❤
Just found this video today in 2024 and made the whole exercise. I have a back injury myself and a hurt knee. I haven’t work out much since summer 2023 and got sick very often. It was a very nice workout to get back to it. Thanks a lot.
been wanting to start calisthenics and this is the perfect place to start! the workout flew by but still made me sweat. been doing it for about two weeks now and i can already feel the difference! thank you lucy!!
You managed to reach a college kid looking to better and strengthen herself, and the way you formulated and taught this was incredible. I’ve never found a workout that didn’t absolutely kill me but still left me feeling like I got something out of it, so thank you. 🙏🏼 I took day 1 photos and I’m so excited to see how my body changes as I progress, and to document the shape I’m getting into.
Thank you so much for this! After nearly no exercise these past 4 months battling long covid, I really need to get up again and move and see if it will help me through this. You are a wonderful trainer; calm and kind and so motivating so thank you so much for your work with these RUclips videos! You are so inspiring.
This was truely beginner friendly. I tried other "beginner" workouts and they always seemed a bit over my level but this was a really nice one where i could finish every exercise. Thank you so much :)
ill do this three times a week. Friday, Sunday, Tuesday. Tysm i havent done anything like this in so so long and this was genuinely perfect. Not too much but not too little. i feel strong, genuinely, tysm
I never tried calisthenics before and i’m glad my first attempt was with this video. I was able to finish it in entirety however i notice i can definitely improve in my posture during these workouts. Will be continuing into this year 🎉
This is the best workout i ever tried...❤❤❤😊 She knows very well about how beginners felt when they doing this workout... *and she always remembers to take deep breathe while doing it,normally i always forget to take breathe while doing my workout sessions...... Love that workout....😊😊😊❤❤❤
Thank you so much for posting this! I have wanted to do calisthenics for years and not that my body is fully healed from my C-section. I am excited to start slow and learn from you! Big hugs from Texas!
Thank you very much, this was my first Calisthenic workout with 62, I have done 1 yr of beginners yoga and pilates so I had SOME preparation. It was very doable but just enough challenging for me- so a great introduction and motivation to get started....only the time keeping without following your video...I dont know yet how ..
So good!! I didnt work out for so long and then I tried this workout and it felt amazing! I was able to finish it, I felt strong, I felt like I can do anything and the best thing was I had my whole body sore.... But that is great!! I am going to do it again right now and I am very excited I actually started to do something with myself again. Thank you!!
I just started exercising again today for the first time in YEARS. And this kicked my A$$ 😅😅 my abs, thighs & calves are SO sore. But I like this because it's doable from home and doesn't require anything extra. Easy to follow along with and great for overall conditioning.
Wow, this workout is brilliant! I just stumbled upon it and tried it out... and for a beginner it's perfect! Whenever I was struggling your talking really helped me push through... thank you for this ♥
Thanks Lucy great work out i just started doing calisthenic and i found your page u have great technique and style i will be doing this regularly between strength training and Pilates yoga training appreciate you 😊
January challenge: I'm going to do this every day for Jan, see if it tones up my abs a little. On top of the gym three times a week. If anything it will help beat the January blues with a bit more structure...in theory 😛
Love love loved this video. Have tried sooo many home workouts on RUclips as a way to bypass the guilt of sitting with an office job every day. This was the perfect before work routine-- got my heart pumping and a bit of a sweat, but left me still feeling energized and excited to tackle the day
This is great sound instructions + breathing comes as you proceed 😅I do this workout everyday and it’s given me so much more stamina + joy through the day 🎉This is miracle since I was recov from a debilitating illness 😅 Love Hannah in Pahoa, 👋
This was truly one of the best workouts I have ever done online. Simple exercises, well explained, good pace. Looking forward to start my morning workout routine with you!
This comment 👆🏻 It really was amazing. I’m not in the greatest shape but also I do not feel like I’m in the worst. This exercise is just right for my current state. I not so big on cardio and I’m 171lbs (77,8kg) and 5’3 ft (163cm) I absolutely recommend this workout ❤
I am recovering from a back injury as well and this workout empowered me instead of leaving me feeling defeated, which has been very common since the injury. Thanks for this! I will come back to it.
Thank you for this video! Not only was I able to strengthen my core and improve my lower back pain issues but I came back to this when I recently broke my ankle and I was able to continue working out with my cast by doing all the exercises, minus the squats and the last warm up exercise. Thank you!
I just found this video today and believe God led me to it. It was easy to follow and I felt so much looser and felt my wellbeing had just been positively impacted. It's going to be a regular go to for me. Thank you lucy. It's so refreshing to find a British instructor also. 😊
I have really bad back problems caused by a bad deadlift. It’s been years and I’d go on and off with weights, as it was the only exercise I did but every time I tried again my back just would progressively get worse, rather it be curls or shoulders, anything that required weight my back would start hurting. So I decided I need to do another form of exercise to get into, and I thought why not calisthenics? So I found your video and today was my fourth day and my back has not been hurting, I honestly feel as if it’s helping my back and my strength. I was scared my back would start hurting like it normally does, but no I feel more strong and able. I honestly really appreciate your video and for inspiring me to continue with calisthenics. I really believe my back might get back to normal and that I will progress with calisthenics :)
Back injuries are awful! I had an L5S1 disk bulge and couldn’t exercise for months several years ago and calisthenics really helped when I was getting back to exercise! I’m so happy to hear it’s feeling good and send you all the healing and happiness! Keep me updated! Xx
Thank you for this Lucy!!! Ive been following your previous video doing the same routine for weeks and actually see improvement in my body. Yeay now im gonna follow this new routine for the next 4 weeks 😄
yesss. this slayed 🎉 i had a back procedure and had to stop lifting weights and i wish i had gotten into calisthenics sooner. i feel myself truly understanding my body more. thank youuu for this 💗

Thank you so much for this amazing workout! And I like how you really explain all the exercises in detail, with the new microphone it was even more helpful than just a voiceover!
what the actual heck lucy, I thought a beginner workout would be easy after not actually really moving for a year or two; I used to play ultimate frisbee and I wouldn't be exhausted like this... I see this was posted two years ago but I'm excited to come back tomorrow and sweat some more!

WHY SHE HAS SO MANY VIEWS..Iv'e tried others- its' your simplicity, your timing and clarity! THANK YOU SO MUCH.
I am an absolute beginner and I can only get it through to round 2 + cool down. This workout makes me feel great, thank you! I will continue until I can do the full video ❤
Thank youuu for including warm up n cool down!!
Just found this video today in 2024 and made the whole exercise. I have a back injury myself and a hurt knee. I haven’t work out much since summer 2023 and got sick very often. It was a very nice workout to get back to it. Thanks a lot.
been wanting to start calisthenics and this is the perfect place to start! the workout flew by but still made me sweat. been doing it for about two weeks now and i can already feel the difference! thank you lucy!!
never has a 20 minute work out gone by so fast and felt so good. hopefully I can convince myself to stick to it 🙏🏻
This was awesome! I love how you did it in gradients! still worked up a sweat!
You managed to reach a college kid looking to better and strengthen herself, and the way you formulated and taught this was incredible. I’ve never found a workout that didn’t absolutely kill me but still left me feeling like I got something out of it, so thank you. 🙏🏼
I took day 1 photos and I’m so excited to see how my body changes as I progress, and to document the shape I’m getting into.
how was it?
How is it so far?
your mic works perfectly thank you! trying calisthenics after many years of being a bit sedentary so this is working out well. thank you!
I love the hugo features! Helps me get back to smiling during the exercise :)
Thank you! I love your calm and genuinely friendly delivery. I've been looking for a workout like this for a while.
This is one of the few workout videos that felt accessible and easy to follow. I ended up doing more than I thought I could. Thanks
Will be continuing into this year 🎉
This was so motivating! Thank you for using beginner inclusive language, encouraging patience, non-harm and giving modifications!
This is the best workout i ever tried...❤❤❤😊
She knows very well about how beginners felt when they doing this workout...
*and she always remembers to take deep breathe while doing it,normally i always forget to take breathe while doing my workout sessions......
Love that workout....😊😊😊❤❤❤
Thats a wonderful session. And i LOVE the preview in the right for the next movement. Very helpfull.
Whenever I was struggling your talking really helped me push through... thank you for this ♥
I hope to be stronger and lose weight with this workout. I didn’t feel lonely doing this! Thank you 🥺
How did it go?
Would love more of these workouts for beginners. I find nothing else is more effective and enjoyable for me. Thank you!!
Thanks Lucy great work out i just started doing calisthenic and i found your page u have great technique and style i will be doing this regularly between strength training and Pilates yoga training appreciate you 😊
You’re great at guiding us through the exercises! ❤
January challenge: I'm going to do this every day for Jan, see if it tones up my abs a little. On top of the gym three times a week. If anything it will help beat the January blues with a bit more structure...in theory 😛
Let’s go!!! I just watched the whole video and will be starting mine today as well!! We got this!! I’m actually excited

I absolutely loved it, thank you so much and I’ll be back🤍🌞
Love love loved this video.

It really was amazing. I’m not in the greatest shape but also I do not feel like I’m in the worst. This exercise is just right for my current state. I not so big on cardio and I’m 171lbs (77,8kg) and 5’3 ft (163cm)
I absolutely recommend this workout ❤
I am recovering from a back injury as well and this workout empowered me instead of leaving me feeling defeated, which has been very common since the injury. Thanks for this! I will come back to it.
1/24/25 Just finished the workout!
My body was shaking the whole time- but I'm determined to get fit.
This workout was so encouraging thank you!
Yey, just started mine today. Keep it up! We got this!
Xx
@@lucylismore your story is inspirational, and it’s awesome how you’re striving to help people! I definitely will be updating :)
Thank you for this Lucy!!! Ive been following your previous video doing the same routine for weeks and actually see improvement in my body. Yeay now im gonna follow this new routine for the next 4 weeks 😄
Could not stop praising you to my husband while doing the routine! Amazing! And I feel my muscles!
yesss. this slayed 🎉 i had a back procedure and had to stop lifting weights and i wish i had gotten into calisthenics sooner. i feel myself truly understanding my body more. thank youuu for this 💗
Just finished it, it feels so great to move again after more than whole pandemic years, thank you so much for doing this
Thank you so much for making a workout for REAL BEGINNERS! This is a workout I possibly can accomplish. All the workouts "for beginners" i found were not really for beginners, at least not for beginners like me. The times for rest also are so great! Thank you!
One of the best workouts I‘ve ever seen and I‘m in love with your energy! Thank you so much!!! 😍
Aww thank you so much! I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Xx
I just found your channel and started doing your workouts and I have to say I really enjoy them! You have nice and soothing voice as well 💜
I LOVED this format - the workout flew by and was enhanced by your lovely, engaging personality. See you in the next workout!
I had started working out in September 2023, and was consistent, but then I had to stop because I sprained my ankle in October. Now it’s April 2024, and I’m ready to start again! 💕
Thank you Lucy! This was amazing- it gives me hope that I can actually build up my strength to where I want to be. Small steps!
I loved this video! I'm just getting into calisthenics and I appreciated this intro so much. Thank you!! And I hope your injury is better
Made it for the fourth time and already feel I am progressing👍really great, motivating sequence for beginners!!!
Awesome video. I watch a lot of RUclips while doing things. Your voice/audio work really helped follow this video. Thanks.
Alrighty, here's my checking in 🥰
Day 1💜
Day 2 💜
Absolutely LOOOOOVED this exercise video. First timer here. I will return. Thx! ❤
This was the perfect pace to wake up my body this morning. Thank you 🙏
